Increíble casa de montaña cerca de Vail y Beaver Creek. Gran plan de piso abierto con una gran cocina y sala principal. Cinco habitaciones y una habitación litera con capacidad para 18 personas.
Esta casa acaba de ser completamente remodelada por lo que todo es nuevo. Se remodela en un estilo muy moderno, limpio, moderno y no rústico.
La cocina es grande y tiene dos hornos para cocinar una comida para todos. El gran comer en el mostrador tiene capacidad para 5.
El patio delantero es de gran tamaño y tiene una gran área de asientos con sofás grandes. También hay una mesa de comedor de hormigón con capacidad para 8-10. Las vistas son increíbles y las puestas de sol son dignas de fotografías.
El garaje es un cierre separado que los propietarios usan ocasionalmente. Puede estar disponible para dormir 4 personas adicionales.

Our group of ski friends had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, property well kept and everything was as advertised. When a minor issue arose, the owner was very responsive and it was corrected quickly. This property will stay on our preferred list for future trips to the area! Highly recommend!

Great location. Not so great upkeep.

We were excited to find a place that could accommodate or group of five without excess unused rooms, for our annual snowboarding trip. Unfortunately a number of serious lapses made or stay mediocre instead of memorable.Let’s start with a positive. Great communication and direction to the property, which is located in the Hills of Beavercreek. The view from the front porch was beautiful, especially with the fresh powder that coincided with arrival. Having a large open concept kitchen, which floated into the living room and dining room, made it the preferred gathering spot for our group chats and dinners. Now the issues:1. Upon arrival, we discovered towels stuffed in one of the bedroom drawers. Not just any towel towels, but towels soiled with heavy menstrual blood that smelled. Upon bagging and disposing of it ourselves in the garbage bin outside we notified the host. The response was.” sorry, we did not have the cleaning people check the drawers”. Nothing else!2. This place severely lacks proper cleaning. Built up cobweb and dust on the fans, and decorative accessories. Soiled chairs etc. 3. We can see an honest attempt at home reno, but result is more of a disaster. Unpatched holes that are cut in the walls and ceilings., 30% of recessed lights do not work, switches that do nothing, worn out counter stools, no covering over bathroom window that looks out into the backyard, etc. 4. The most annoying issue was the lack of reliable Wi-Fi. That is all.

Bring a shovel for driveway and hot tub walkway !

We had a good stay. However, make sure to be prepared for the very steep driveway and most likely ( our case) wasn't shoveled. We showed up and couldn't make it up the driveway. We had to shovel for 30-45mins. A lot of ice under as well, so just be warned and be careful in the winter. 3 of us feel really hard walking up the driveway on thick ice. The hot tub was great, but again, the pathway has 1 foot of snow covering it and a bit icy. Again, this was just our experience and they may shovel for the next group.. but just a warning. The space and house was excellent!

Big property

The property is spacious and undergone remodeling , especially the first floor. We had a big group and we didn’t have any space issues. The only negative is the driveway wasn’t plowed well and area around hot tub was covered in snow. It was hard to park two-wheel drive cars and very slippery to walk. we only used hot tub once because it was so much snow and ice around it.

I Would Not Do Business With This Host Again

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing stay at this property. There appears to have been a pre-existing plumbing issue at the house for which the host arranged workers to come address in the middle of our stay. The work exacerbated the problem and caused the upstairs shower to partially flood the downstairs primary bedroom. We stopped using the shower to prevent any damage to the house and informed the host we would expect a partial refund for the new circumstances affecting the duration of our stay. The host replied only after several promptings and refused any compensation. I opened an official claim with VRBO, who again contacted the host to encourage him to discuss the issue with us. The host again refused to engage. Since we attempted to address the issue directly with the host--believing a mutually acceptable solution could easily be found--we did not report the issue directly to VRBO during our stay. As a result, VRBO's policies would not provide for any compensation either. A note to any VRBO customer--if there are issues, report to your host and VRBO immediately--VRBO's policies do not appear to be very customer-friendly should issues arise during stays. Beyond that, the internet was spotty during our stay, requiring us to crawl under the house in the crawlspace to reset the modem and router. The side yard/garage were also full of garbage, old paint cans, etc. Overall, I don't believe the host engaged with us in good faith. Proceed at your own risk.

Great location for golfers

John was very responsive to all my questions and the house and hot tub is very nice. There is a lot of room, and it’s a quick walk to the golf course. It was clean and has good basics in the kitchen, except there is lots and lots of skillets but only one sauce pan. ;)

Quick pre-ski season visit

The house was pretty comfortable and large enough for our 4 adults and 6 kids, but I don't feel like the description of the home was entirely accurate. While the kitchen was updated, I wouldn't describe the house as a "full modern update". I think the max for sleeping in the house should be set at 12. We did see two mattresses stacked in the garage... are those for people to use on the floor somewhere? The big kids were disappointed that we couldn't find the ping-pong table. The coffee pot wasn't fully working- the kurig side sprayed water everywhere and was missing a part. The slider door to the outside of the home was broken- the lock took over ten times of trying to secure it each time and the door wouldn't slide easily so an adult had to use both hands and all their strength to open and close it for kids coming and going to the hot tub. It would have been nice to have more toys available in the kid's room. We didn't spend much time at the house, but I think if we had been there longer, we would have apprecaited a more kid friendly house.

Bad experience throughout the entire stay

We arrived at 3:55pm and the cleaning lady still had a lot to do. Our party had old people and small kids of 3-4 years old. Because the weather was too cold for us to wait outside, we went inside at 4:01pm to comply with checkin instructions. The lady was by herself trying to finish cleaning the entire first floor. Our family had to help her vacuuming the bedrooms and clean the kitchen, otherwise we would have to wait for at least 30 more minutes. The property owner was extremely unresponsive. He gave us wrong wifi password and did not respond at all when I texted him about water leaking from second floor to the master bedroom for a good few hours. He finally replied to me after I chatted with customer support. And that was on the very first night when we checked in. To make it worse, he never apologized at all for the bad experiences we had. The price was cheaper than other places, but I would rather pay more for much better customer services.

This property has some issues. Dishwasher never worked, thermostat seemed remotely controlled because main floor would never warm up above 65 degrees. Some outlet were fake. We left a day early to avoid weather so he offered us a house in Denver which I sent him $250 cleaning fee for, we changed our minds and got hotel rooms once we got there because we could not find parking for 2 pickups and a suburban within a couple blocks radius and had a lot of bags to carry. I let him know we were not going in but he did not return the cleaning fee because he said he already paid the cleaners even though we did not stay. Not impressed

Dirty, NOT Covid safe.

When we arrived at this property AFTER the check in time we came into a very unclean house. The master bed was unmade and had clearly been slept in, there were used, wet, dirty towels all over the floor, and hair in shower and sink. We called the owner and after a bit of no response he said he would send someone over to clean it and offered a “few hundred dollars refund” (which we still have not received) we agreed and the cleaning person arrived about an hour later. She came dressed in a dress and heals and told us “she will do what she can but this isn’t her fault and she had other things to do” ok…we left and went to dinner. We came back an hour and half later and she was gone. The bed was remade in the same dirty sheets that had been on there and slept in prior to our arrival, and the wet towels that had been on the floor in the bathroom were still damp and simply folded and put up for us to use. Disgusting. I spent the evening washing towels and bedding so that we could sleep there. At this point it was late and we didn’t want anyone else coming in for a second time and asking us to leave again so they could “clean”. We agreed as a family to just clean it ourselves so that we could enjoy our vacation without worrying about someone else coming in with all of our stuff there. The dishwasher also did not work properly and did not get the dishes clean and leaked all over the floor. There is also a weird and VERY unsafe bunk room off the laundry room that should not be advertised as a room or used at all. My husband is a fire chief and there is no way that any adult or child should sleep in that room as there is not a way to escape if a fire should occur in the adjoining washer/dryer/water heater room. The house itself is decorated nicely and the other rooms are good. If it had a different owner I’d stay again. But the dirtiness and lack of COVID safe cleaning is enough for me to say RUN somewhere else…

Location is great. Parts of the home could use some extra attention..

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The location is convenient if you don't want to be right in the heart of Vail, yet close enough that it's only a short drive away. Beaver Creek and the shops/restaurants in Avon are also within a few short minutes of driving. As for the house itself, while it is evident that the kitchen and bathrooms have all been recently remodeled, there are a few things that need greater attention. The couch in the main living/ family room sits extremely low to the ground and is very uncomfortable to sit on. It also seems a bit worn and not matching the rest of the decor in the home. The carpeting in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms is in desperate need of replacement and/ or deep cleaning as both rooms have heavy stains. Additionally, only a few of the windows and sliding glass doors had screens on them, and with it being the middle of summer it would have been nice to have been able to open multiple windows to allow in the cool air during the evenings since there is no A/C in the home. Opening any windows without screens would risk allowing in flies and bees, which we saw plenty of while we were out enjoying the patio. The patio is a great place for relaxing, but it didn't feel overly inviting. The grill had various parts and seemingly random pieces laying underneath it, and there was a hose that was left unraveled that took up a significant portion of the deck. We avoided that area as not to trip over it. Overall, the location can't be beat if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the heart of Vail, yet still be very close to the action. With a few additional upgrades and attention, it would be perfect.

We had a great time during Spring Break skiing every day and then coming home to relax in the hot tub, cook dinner and enjoy family time around the dining table. Newly updated throughout and really pretty. We had plenty of room to spread out with two families.

Great location and space

I spent 4 nights at the property- the space was excellent, plenty of room and great kitchen and living space for a large group. The house is a very good proximity to Vail and Beaver Creek, with a large driveway. As John writes, would recommend a 4wd car for the driveway if you’re traveling in the winter. Unfortunately, the hot tub had not been serviced prior to us coming in peak season. John was responsive and able to get cleaners to come before we left, so we had 1 out of 4 days with hot tub access. Additionally, during the first night of our stay we lost all indoor hot water and weren’t able to get a response from the host to fix it. The water remained frigid for the remainder of our trip. I have to rate this 3 stars - the space itself is great, but lack of hot water during the winter (and hot tub) greatly impacted the quality of our stay.

Excellent pet friendly house.

Spacious comfortable house for a Vail ski trip. This place had plenty of room for everyone. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Wedding Party HQ

Rented the house during my daughter's wedding week. Our family and several members of the wedding party stayed at the house. It was a great wedding HQ for family and wedding party/guest get togethers. The only downside was that the dishwasher was leaking so we were doing dishes by hand for 10+ people throughout the stay

Did not see our expectations

bathrooms and kitchen were really dirty, the floor probably never been washed, dust was everywhere. The upstairs bathroom did not drain so we only used 1 bathroom.
