Lovely Stay At The Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel

The location of the Glenmoriston Hotel, is fantastic, lovely view of the river, a very short walk into Inverness and easy access to many places if you are hiring a car. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was serviced each day and water and refreshments replaced. We were very happy to keep our towels and bedding for the duration of our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the only negative I can really comment on is the soundproofing of the rooms, I guess being an older building this would be a big job to address.

Loved our 3-night stay. Easy walking to Inverness Old Town along the river. Only suggestion would be to update the bathroom but we enjoyed our time in this hotel. Staff were lovely.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Glenmoriston. Ideal riverside location and very easy 5 minute to the town centre. Cleanliness is of a very high standard. Lovely white fluffy towels. Plentiful hot water. S All staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.. Dining experiences both at breakfast and dinner were first class. Lovely, relaxing,very well stocked bar. Highly recommend We will be back Thanks to all involved.

No comfort. No conditioner. Never again.

Pro: Lovely location along the river. Stayed in a 'Double Comfort Room' which would be more accurately described as a 'Discomfort Room'. The double bed is actually two hard, lumpy twins pushed together. The rock-hard raised ridge between mattresses is one way to not find sleep. The other? The sweet sounds of what can be best described as the devil's dustbin wheeling around your walls and ceiling for hours at a time throughout the night. Whether mechanical or maniacal in nature, who knows. What is for certain: there is no 'sleeping' in Double Discomfort Room 21. Only tossing endlessly trying to avoid the chasm between matresses whilst waiting for the next passing through of God-knows-what-that-noise-is. Booked breakfast at 945am as we were told that is the last seating. Arrived to a completely decimated breakfast area. Opting to pass on the bowl of sweet dregs of what was presumably a fruit salad, ordered off the menu. The staff clearly eager for us to leave asked to clear away our still-full plates less than five minutes from delivering them. No second coffee. No top-up on tea. Just a healthy helping of GTFO. Oh and for the ladies: Pack conditioner as the hotel's 'conditioning shampoo' has zero conditioning properties. Hello rats nest. IYKYK. Finally, there is a bar with a piano. Just no piano player. Not surprised.

Excellent Hotel in Great Location

Hotel in fabulous location near the city centre. The room had a large double bed with a beautiful view over the river. It was a little tired but the staff were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was a nice selection.

Everything was great. Good breakfast, location and comfortable beds. The only feedback is we stayed in room 29 and the door lock was faulty so we had to put the chair against our door and leave it unlocked all night. We was only staying 1 night so it wasn't a huge deal.

Nice and cosy room bed was comfortable however noted to be to single beds pushed together. staff very accommodating as I had special food requirements assisted me in finding out the right information I required. The hotel has no lifts so pack light !! But there’s only two floors beautiful view in-front of building.
