Overall a nice place to stay. The inside was very clean but the flooring could be replaced. We heard the place has been purchased and they are rebranding so hopefully they will renovate the rooms as well. Friendly staff and conveniently located to shops, dining and the beach. The town closes down early.

Great location right at the beach, with spacious suite room, clean and comfortable king size bed. Friendly staff and very helpful. However the pull out sofa bed was very sagged, not good for the back that my son was more comfortable sleeping on the sofa.

I really liked being right next to everything. Just wish the hotel looked at nice as the high prices you pay for it. My room needed repairing and cleaning. Just overall needs more attention to cleanliness and upkeep.

Avila Beach 2025

Great location and very family friendly. Across from the beach and walk away from food and restaurants. Breakfast every morning included was very convenient, only negative was fire pits wasn’t working, and they should have several gas heaters available for outdoor night time. We loved it.

If it weren’t for the rusty swings outside the hotel making a high pitch creak (non stop - when people not swinging, the wind blew them and they creaked/ground/squeaked) I would have rated this five stars.

In general, we were very content with our 3 day stay at Avila Lighthouse Suites. Only one issue was bugging us. We had an ocean front room on the second floor in the eastern part of the hotel. The swings at the beach right in front of our room makes a terrible creaking noise, which made the balcony unusable from 10am until sunset, where the swings were in constant use. Please get this fixed.

Well thought we’d have a nice night in Avila. The weather is really lovely ! Booked room at Avila Lighthouse Suites. Have stayed here many times over the years with many fond memories. THIS TRIP IS NOT TURNING OUT THAT WAY.😩 Two parties going on, one with speakers steps from our room. But the real kicker is they are painting and drilling in the room next door. It’s 8:25 PM and drilling is still going on even after many complaints. Definitely not the nice relaxing beach night we thought we would have. Paint fumes now coming into the room now also. Have been to many hotels who have had construction and they always warn you and never work after hours, much less never have fumes coming into another room from connecting doors!😢😩 Front desk has done nothing to stop the work next door. Now hammering too!
