We experienced a mix-up with our room assignment, but David provided excellent customer service and quickly gave us the room we had requested—with a stunning view of the ocean! The location of this hotel is its best asset. It’s within 10 minutes of the Catalina Express dock, grocery store, restaurants, and charming specialty shops. That said, we were a bit disappointed with some aspects of the room: no iron or ironing board, no microwave, and the room itself was quite small with very little space to move around. The flooring is also due for an update. Overall, the ocean view and convenient location were the highlights of our stay, and David’s outstanding service made a positive difference.

Great location

Very nice hotel with a friendly front desk staff. Everything was clean and high quality. Excellent location. BUT the room was sooooooo small. Like barely get around the beds small. It was ok for one night—if staying longer I would need a larger space and at this nightly price point I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

AMAZING, best hotel we have ever stayed at. Front desk let us check in a little early selected a room with a view since it was our honeymoon and had a beautifully decorated room. It was a bit smaller, but since we were visiting Catalina Island and had much to do, we weren’t really in the room to need all that space anyways. The best thing about this hotel is that we were able to have our luggage sent ahead after storing it to meet us on the dock when we left on the Catalina flyer.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff!

Beautiful hotel, amazing service, and all around exceeded expectations. Loved the gentleman who took my bag right from the Catalina Express dock, instantly freeing me of the hassle of lugging it around until check in. Champagne splits in the room were an added touch you don’t often get, I’ll definitely stay again next trip out there!

Excellent Hotel and staff. Was a wonderful experience and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Catalina. The property was well-maintained, in excellent condition, and decorated exceptionally well. Rooms are small but very classy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and outgoing.
