A cool place up in the canyon not too far from the water. It's a little walk to go up and down, but not bad. There is free service to and from the downtown, as well as to the pier, but was not aware until we got there. The service to and from downtown is not consistent, and although the front desk gives you a # to call the driver when needed, he/they never answered the phone. They just showed up whenever. The wait could be long than 15 min, so be prepared or walk. Always good to catch the last ride up. When it was mentioned to who.e er was at the front desk about the driver and not being able to get ahold of him they just shrugged and gave a standard answer of he will be here.
As far as the hotel itself. Be aware that "heated" pool means 75 degrees. Which is not very heated, even in the middle of the day. Wish there were a couple of hot tubs. The rooms were nice. As stated, the hotel itself is nice, peaceful and pretty. Just wish there was better communication. I would recommend it knowing what I know.
