The historic house is beautiful and very clean. Had plenty of outlets, A/c worked great, and bed and linens were so comfortable. We had a good nights after a long day. Conveniently located. Outdoor property was fenced but as someone mentioned the gate is off its hinges but we didn't mind. I wouldnt leave my dog out there unsupervised anyway. Communication with management was great. Cons: listing says swimming pool. There is not. Actually no swimming nearby so i dont know why it states that. The door in one of the bedrooms has a door with windows with no cover. This creeped out our son because that door faces the front of the house and offers no privacy and its very dark at night as well. We had to cover it with a blanket. Otherwise wise we really enjoyed our stay.

Milk Bath Springs was a lovely place to experience The Texas Hill Country. Additionally, the Location was super convenient. It was charming, peaceful, and immaculate! Communication was timely and provided clear instructions,If I can offer any suggestions it would be to repair the ice maker or place a bag of ice in the freezer, add a full length mirror in one or both of the bedrooms, and a luggage rack would have been easier than living out of your suitcase on the floor. The pillows could be improved , as well. However, overall , I would definitely book this modernized & inviting rental again.

1930’s Cuteness

House was very nice and clean. The outside of the property could use a little maintenance. The orange spray paint on the fence from maybe the neighbor was a little strange. Had a great weekend and a beautiful wedding for my granddaughter so how could it not be perfect. I would definitely recommend it with great location.

Wedding stay

Came in for a wedding. The house was beautiful as pictured. However, EVERY ROOM has an exit door with windows on it. One of the Rooms DOES NOT have a Window. When we arrived late at night, we had all the Lamps on, which was nice because the property is very dark at night. However, arriving at a home with doors unlocked, windows unlocked, and lights on. It scared the world out of my two kids and they wanted to leave immediately. We ended up putting a blanket from another bed on the window and moving a chair in front of the door, they slept in. We did send the Host a message about the locks. They responded with an apology stating the maids must have accidentally left with out checking locks. The home has a working fireplace. It was not cold enough to use, however, a prior guest did use recently and the home smelled of the fireplace in the living, kitchen, and dining. Do bring a hair dryer, they do not have one. The place was very comfortable. We only slept and showered there. We did utilize the kitchen. The shower worked GREAT. However, it was quiet and beautiful to sit and drink our morning coffee. I was glad we did not bring our dogs this time. The Fence is broken in some spots. Check with the owner if this was fixed before booking. This was a BEST night's sleep I have gotten in over a year! I would have given them a 5, however, the 2 issues were no curtains on one of the doors, and us arriving late with doors and windows unlocked were too spooky for us.

Great Stay in Dripping Springs, But a Few Surprises

We had a great weekend getaway at this house in Dripping Springs! The home is super cute, spacious, and in a great location—close to stores, an ER (which we unfortunately had to visit), and perfectly situated between wineries and distilleries to the north and south.A few things to note: there was a noticeable septic smell throughout the house, which another tenant mentioned was due to a leak. Also, only two of the beds had comforters, and when we inquired about sheets, the response felt automated and unhelpful. A first aid kit wasn’t available, so it might be good to bring your own. We were also under the impression there would be a pool, but we didn’t find one on-site. Lastly, while the listing said “pet-friendly,” we later found out there was an extra nightly fee per dog, which wasn’t clear upfront.Despite these minor inconveniences, it was a great place to call home for the weekend, we recommend.

Great location for family

Parents and Adult kids plus 2 dogsBeautiful house, and property. Management company was very nice to work with. We even had a pipe burst from the recent freeze . and it was taken care of very promptly. Love the 1930s vibe of the house and decor. House needs a better dish drainer since there's no dishwasher and a big pot to cook things like spaghetti, etc. If the wifi could be improved, that would be great. Some games or puzzles , maybe a deck of cards would be good too. We did have a good time. We'd stay again.

Wonderful Pre-Christmas Stay

I found the property on VRBO, as we needed to find a 5 night stay before we went to our daughters for Christmas and ew Years. The home was perfect and I loved its country setting. We had our 3 adult kids and their kids over for dinner and everyone loved the home also. I would definitely go back.

Great stay!

We stayed at the property to attend a family wedding in Dripping Springs. The house is in a great location - really close to everything but feels like the country. We enjoyed looking around the property and seeing the outbuildings from when it was a farm (we guess). The house was very clean and everything we needed was there. It was great just sitting on the front porch enjoying our time. Definitely recommend!

Milk Bath Springs house

Really enjoyed this property. The interior is nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. The exterior grounds are rustic and the grass is all dead. I believe this is due to the current drought and the city not allowing the property to be watered. Really enjoyed sitting on the rockers on the front porch and cooking on the charcoal grill. Overall I would recommend this property.

Perfect for a small group of friends on a Gals-Get-Away

We came to see the waterfalls. We, also, went to the Olive Company. It was a great place for lunch. The house was perfect for us. We each had our own beds, and two bathrooms were perfect for 4-women. The neighborhood was quiet and house was in a central location for everything we were wanting to do. We would definitely stay here again. (please do not post the following. There is a very bad ant problem in the kitchen. We had to throw away 1-1/2 loaves of bread, cereals, and other food items that were not in tightly sealed containers. Also, for the middle bedroom, if you would consider putting a curtain of some kind over the door windows. We taped a towel up over the bedroom door's windows for privacy.)

Overall, the property was great. The kitchen could use a few more items like glassware, etc. Also, we got a tissue box that had about three tissues in it so had to go purchase a box. For what we paid, it would have been nice to supply some. We liked the house very much though and will rent again.

Cozy home

We came in from out of state for Christmas to visit family. The home was clean and cozy. Very cute. Everything worked great. Property management communicated and answered any questions I had. Under beds were pretty dusty and maybe forgotten about but not horrible. Washer and dryer located outside of the home so you have to walk outside to access which wasn’t a big deal because weather was good. There is a Keurig coffee maker so if you’re a coffee drinker, make sure you bring your own coffee! It was very quiet and peaceful and great location. We will definitely stay there again.
