Staff were polite. I ordered a change of towels and it wasn't done when we returned that evening. The night staff had to take care of it. The lighting in the room and bathroom was very poor. One of the elevators was out of service.

Great service, very welcoming and friendly. There are 2 major issues I have with this hotel. 1. The pillow and bed are too soft for me, and it gives me a sore back every morning. 2. The complimentary breakfast is what you'd expect from a 2 star motel, but its pretty unacceptable for what Residence Inn charges. Nevertheless the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Comfortable Stay

The location was great for our family get together. The hotel is a bit worn. The room could have been a little cleaner. Dusty in some areas. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was mediocre. There was apparently a problem in the kitchen on the Sunday we were there. Front desk staff were very friendly.

Booked this hotel through Expedia which states that parking was $10 when in fact it was $20. Was able to get the staff at the front desk to lower it to $15 after letting her know. If a hotel is going to contract with Expedia, they need to make sure that Expedia has all of their information correct on their website.

Inaccurate pricing

While the check-in, hotel, room, and breakfast were all great, the hotel charged $15 for parking even though multiple places on Hotels.com states that it is free. Parking in this part of Decatur is not challenging and should not come with a fee.
