Staff at front desk - some were nice, some incredibly unfriendly. Not very helpful. Older, not super clean or kept up. Stayed there because fairly close to the hospital my husband was in. Bar and restaurant were top notch though.

Dog Friendly Option in Buckhead

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Great to have a dog friendly hotel option for our senior pup. Only thing that would have been nice would be some green space for him to go potty. Great location in the middle of Buckhead with shops and restaurants!

Wonderful experience with a few valet concerns

We had an amazing time during our stay! The hotel itself was beautiful, and the overall experience was memorable. I want to give a special shoutout to Rachel at the front desk—though calling her a receptionist doesn’t do her justice. Her warm, professional, and elevated service truly set the tone for our visit. Also, Quam from the valet team made a great first impression upon our arrival—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. However, I do want to share some honest feedback about the valet service. Unfortunately, it fell short over the weekend. With such high guest volume, it was surprising that only six carts were available. We had to go up and down twice, which became an added inconvenience, especially after a long day. Additionally, on Friday night—my birthday dinner—we had a reservation, but it took 15 minutes to retrieve our vehicle. This delay nearly caused us to miss our reservation time, which was incredibly frustrating given that changes would’ve depended on availability. For $55 per day, the valet service should be more streamlined and guest-focused. At the very least, offering a self-parking option would be appreciated, especially when the current system isn't consistently beneficial. That said, the staff mentioned above truly elevated our stay, and we’re grateful for their hospitality. With some improvements to the valet, this would easily be a 5-star experience all around.

The staff was very hospitable. Front desk offered us the same rate as the garage to valet, very polite. We got a drink credit as well since we were not able to make the bar. We want to come back to see the rooftop bar St. Julip. The food at The Betty restaurant was good. We had an issue with one server but the manager was very professional and addressed all our concerns. Kimpton is a high quality chain!

The building is definitely smaller than all of the nearby hotels. It feels secluded and not city like at all, the pool is surrounded by trees and plants and gives a tranquil setting but not a city feeling. I booked a two queen room but was given a king room with a pullout couch (pullout bed was thin as expected).

Although an old hotel that has been transformed into a Kimpton, it was beautifully designed and maximized every space and its appeal. Alexus at reception was welcoming, professional, energetic, and clearly highly passionate, skilled, and committed to her career. Consider adding treads in the shower as it was a bit slick. The a/c heats up about 8 degrees warmer in the middle of the night (every night) and we did have to get up to reset it. The valets were lackluster, especially as the hotels first impression. Consider customer experience training. All other staff were wonderful and clearly embraced and enjoyed their positions. The rooms were spacious, well designed, and quiet.
