Young lady at the front desk was very polite and professional. Room was very nice and clean , and for being New Year’s Eve it was also very quiet. Give the stay a 10 .

Breakfast was boring! We stayed for 5 days, and the breakfast choices only alternated between two different types of eggs every other day, accompanied by sausage and biscuits every day. The healthiest choice was a sugar- laden yogurt, there wasn't any Greek yogurt choice. The only fruit available was bananas. The room was very comfortable with an extra room with a couch, chair, desk, and TV. The bed and pillow choices were comfortable. The room was clean every day with fresh towels and toiletres as needed. I did feel that there was an odor in the room when you first entered that smelled like garlic for some reason. The front desk personnel were always polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about tourism information. We enjoyed the fireplace and chairs in the lobby during evening times.

Absolutely the best value in Asheville. Clean safe nice ... minutes away to downtown. But dont walk. There are many drug rehab facilities near by and a lot of homeless. Gauntlet of pan handlers and transient. Unfortunately that describes most of Asheville.
