"The property was charming, and I wish I had more time to take in the Ellis Inn's other amenities. I felt bad that I missed the original breakfast time on my first morning there due to jet lag, but Paula was so accommodating. The room was great, and the bed was a little too comfortable. It is an excellent location if you are visiting northern and central Vermont but be advised that parking can be a little tricky there. Though that could also be attributed to my lack of familiarity with the type of rental car I had. Overall a great experience. "

"It was mostly excellent but the room itself was unacceptable for someone like me that has to have a cool room to sleep in. So if you need a room that needs to be cooled to 60 degrees,this won't do. I had to leave at 11pm because I could not sleep. I will NOT be back!"

"Loved our stay here, close to everything and we even got a little fishing in on our trip. Only negative is that since I am allergic to dogs and with them being as pet friendly as they are (I didn't see this when booking), I had some issues with my face swelling after sleeping in the bed. Some of the carpets also smelled like animal urine... but other than that, we absolutely loved it here. "
