4/10 Poor

Yes, the room was lacking. The heating unit was only able to be turned on or off with no thermostatic control. The window was inoperable so no way to moderate the heat with fresh air. Staff came to look, couldn't fix it, and say they'd see what they could do, but literally told us "don't get your hopes up." Hello? Really? Is that what you call customer service? We asked to be moved to another room, but were told there were no vacancies, but the parking lot was full and rooms were showing as available online. On check out, the staff at the desk pretty much said that just the way it is... our heaters are old and all work about the same, but "we're working on it!" I expect that staff can only do so much and the fault lies at the top.
Finally, the listing says "pool" but no indication that it is outdoors and closed during winter. Very disappointing as well. "Quality Inn" should be quality spelled with a "K" at best.
