I’m a loyal customer of the Dakota Inn but was very disappointed this trip. My room had a fan and an air conditioner that made the room humid and hot. It was unbearable. I also had no light in the bathroom area.

It appeared to be very tired and used without any attention to upkeep. While it was clean and convenient and breakfast OK there is little to recommend it. I would not stay there again or recommend it to others.

The check in was terrible. Did not have our reservations for 4 rooms for 2 nights. The front desk person told us that it is cheaper if we don't use a website to book and then charged us more. I notified hotels.com and the issue was fixed the next day. The room was not very clean and smelled musty.
