The indoor swing (oonjal) and the intricate bronze Dashavataram artwork gave the space a truly authentic, soulful feel. The Food: Incredible South Indian cuisine. Our favorite ritual was visiting the on-site tea stall (kadai) for authentic Kumbakonam specialty coffee every morning and afternoon. Wellness: The in-house Ayurveda treatments were professional and deeply relaxing -- a must-do after a day of temple visits.
