Hotel du Centre

Booked two rooms for family of four. Very clean hotel. Small rooms. Decent continental breakfast. Only a seven minute stroll to the railway station where you can get trains into central Geneva that take little over 20 minutes. Friendly staff. The lift wasn't working but that wasn't n issue as we were on the first floor.

Clean and worked very well for a short stay. Friendly front-desk staff. The room was standard, small with a comfy bed. Fresh towels every day. Within the room the shower was smelly (the drain). The shower head was also leaky. These were just minor things, otherwise pretty good value.

We stayed here as a budget friendly alternative to staying in Geneva. It wasn't fancy but you aren't paying for fancy. The room was clean, spacious, great shower, comfy bed, free wifi and large fluffy towels. The staff all spoke great English, were really friendly and helpful. We stayed over a weekend and we could hear the bars and restaurants below on the Saturday night but it didn't stop us sleeping, The other nights we heard nothing. Transport links were great for both the train and tram. We easily explored Geneva and the Alps.

Bit of a nightmare.

Took them 3 attempts to give us a clean room, we had to change rooms after the first night and they charged us twice. But hey, they gave us a free breakfast. The walls to the rooms were insanely thin and we could hear every single noise outside. But the location is pretty damn good.

In the middle of a building site, accessed only by driving the wrong way down a one way road. Dirty room, balcony door didn’t close or lock. Nothing work eating at breakfast and no plates to eat off anyway.

We booked a 4-person unit, even though there were only 3 of us traveling. We expected it to be more spacious. It just included one queen bed, and two twin beds. There wasn't any real dresser, so we had to keep our clothes in the tiny closet, or the open-shelf unit. Mostly kept stuff in our packing cubes. The room was directly on a busy street, so noise was a problem at night. Staff were extremely nice, and very helpful.

Pour commencer il y avait des fourmis partout petites mais il fallait pas laisser de la nourriture même emballé pas ouvert les fourmis essayaient de manger dans réussir ensuite j'ai eu deux appels de téléphone que j'ai laissé sonner sans répondre il était 11h du matin le responsable est venu taper a la porte crier qu'il allait me prendre et le jeter dehors a cause que ma sonnerie était de la musique classique, pourtant il ne sonnait pas depuis un moment et je lui ait dit en ouvrant la porte qu'il n'y avait pas de musique depuis longtemps. Ensuite au check off il a vérifié la chambre et il disait que ça sentait la fumée je lui ai répondu que ça venait des autres clients qui fument a la fenêtre je lui ai montré les centaines de mégot de cigarette qui tombent sous le balcon de la fenêtre et que c'est en se rapprochant des fenêtres que ça sentait la fumée mais pas dans la chambre. Pour finir trois jours après il a débité ma carte de la caution de 100 € c'est du vol!! Il peut pas débité quelques jours après la vérification du check off Il doit m'expliquer pourquoi il débité 100€ mais pas trois jours après sans explications ! Même pas un email pour donner une raison !!! Je loue en Suisse en Espagne et en France presque sept semaines d'hôtel par année et c'est la première fois que ça m'arrive. De toute façon je sais pas mais le contact avec ce monsieur dès le début pour ma part j'avais rien contre lui je le connaissais pas mais il était désagréable rien a voir a
