The location is perfect - next to the old town and 2 blocks from the train / bus station. The host communication and response to my questions was excellent. There were nearby restaurants, ATM machines and lots of sights to see. The beautiful Lake Annecy was a short walk away thru old town.we went to the bus station and got a bus to Chamonix, France - that was fun. The apartment was very secure and in what seemed like a safe neighborhood.We would definitely recommend this place and were happy with our stay.We flew into Geneva airport - a bus or train to annecy is very long so I would recommend a car service which is what we did. It was thru Geneva shuttle.com and cost 140 one way for the two of us total. They met us inside the Geneva airport - in the terminal but after you get your luggage and go outside of the security area. They communicated very well with us and were very punctual!!. It is door to door service so very nice. We liked it so much we booked again to take us back to the airport a few days later. You are alone inside a Mercedes vehicle. It's about a 40 minute ride. It was great! We usually take a train but this train is not very direct taking about 1:45 hours
