It was extremely hot in this room! I would never choose to stay here again. The staff was very friendly and lovely. The restaurant across from the hotel had very loud music until at least midnight on a Thursday night. Definitely not the hotel’s fault but it made my stay even more uncomfortable. The pillows in the room are also terrible. The shower felt dirty and grimy. There was no soap or shampoo or anything of that nature in the shower.

Great Hotel; Extraordinary staff

We spent two nights in Annecy and it was a SUPERB experience. The hotel is located near the bus station and is walkable distance from the old town and nearby mall. The front desk staff, especially Dima, Lina, and Estelle went above and beyond to make our stay very special. They gave us great recommendations, helped with dinner reservations, and actively helped reschedule our transfer. The staff has fluency in English which made communication easier and more pleasant. We would definitely book again for our next Annecy visit. Strongly recommend the place.

It is very close to the train station, which is good. And they gave me a full refund (or said they will), which is good. But, the bad- it smelled and in 3 of the 3 rooms we looked at, there were short hairs on the sheets, like multiple ones. Not sure if it was dog hair or pubic hair or arm hair, but it was gross. They said they couldn’t change the sheets after we found all of the hair because housekeeping wasn’t there at the time. They did offer me sheets to change beds myself. I also had asked repeatedly in advance for adjacent or adjoining rooms, and we had rooms on different levels, which was not good since we were traveling together as a large family. We ended up going to Novotel, right next door, and it was so much better. No smell, better lobby, clean rooms and they were able to put us close together. We stayed two nights there, because that was all that was available, then went to Privilodges Aparthotel Annecy, which was even better. Those rooms were larger (like a living area, bedroom and small kitchen), it was clean and I liked the location way more since we were in the middle of old down town.

Centrally located, very walkable, close to transportation, close to all the city had available (grocery store, shopping, dining, parks). The staff was very nice and accommodating. Loved our stay! Would stay there again. Highly recommend.
