"I wish I had reasons to visit Wausau more because of this hotel. I love the esthetic of the whole place, the atmosphere, the staff was super friendly and helpful right from the very first interaction. The room was clean, well maintained, I appreciate that we were able to keep the temperature controlled at comfy level without it being one extreme or the other. The pool area was fun and well stocked with towels. The breakfast is abundant and tasty, so much to choose from! My only conplaint is that there is not a lot of seating in the breakfast area, so we had to juggle our plates and drinks while going in the elevator and getting into our room which did not have adequate space to set our food down and eat. And by the time we got settled, waffles were cold. Even so, we were overall very impressed with the accomodations, especially for the reasonable price."

"Lady working breakfast was a little crotchity when asked about coffee which was the only interaction we ever had with any staff... but aside from that our stay was pleasant, comfortable, and fun! "

"We chose the Jefferson Street Inn to be close to the Wausau Whitewater Park not knowing we'd be a short walk to amazing food and drink and some cool shops. The Inn itself is quite nice with friendly staff, immaculately clean room, and wonderful linens on a comfie bed. The AC is up to the task and the room was blessedly dark and quiet for sleeping. "
