Lots of wrongs from Day 1 - Need improvements

Only 1 staff and was away during check-in. Waited 20-25 min even after pressing bell several times. Only 1 lift and that too was out of order. The room had toilet cistern leaking entire time, staff checked did nothing twice. Only on last night new staff another room but single bed instead of king bed originally booked. No housekeeping done in rooms. During check-out was given invoice for 1 night for room exchange. Spent quite a time to explain that we paid everything upfront and room was changed due to issues in room. Reception then corrected everything and mentioned there was no note so she was totally unaware. Overall not good experience.

The rooms were smaller than the photos led us to believe. Weekend restaurant menu was limited. The quality of the meals were good, but our meal on Monday night took over an hour from order to delivery. The elevator was out of order after our first day, and we had to carry our luggage down 5 flights of stairs on the way out. The staff were friendly though.

Not ideally located - not close to public transportation. No nearby restaurants other than hotel across the street. No diners in the Bastion restaurant for the days I was there. Desk clerk not very helpful - couldn't locate hotel on city map. No check-in before 3 even though hotel was mainly empty.

We loved the espresso machine and small fridge. Note that if you are planning to transit into Amsterdam, you will have an 8-10 minute walk to the nearest tram service.

Good location, room was on the 6th floor and elevator stopped on the 5th, leaving me to climb two set of stairs with luggages, and no offer to help from staff. Also got a retundant "No" when asked if i could get a room with elevator access (I am 63). My room was cleaned half way one time and the coffee machine in the room was difficult to use.

Would definitely stay again.

Great service at this hotel. Very friendly and they even gave us a bat and ball set for our son to play with and had spare umbrellas on hand for the unpredictable weather. Hotel was clean, modern and felt very safe. Key access required to enter the corridor with rooms as well as to the room doors. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom small but modern and stylish. The breakfast offering was good.

Booked the king bed and mentioned 3 people stay! They had only two pillows! Even asked for one more - they said they dont have pillows! Horrible horrible experience and customer service. All hotels provide 4/5 pillows even for 2 people. They provided 2 pillows for 3 people

I would not recommend staying here. The staff where super helpful. The rooms were not good. Mattress was stained. They had pushed two single beds together and tried to say it was was king sized. It was a hard place to navigate, basically middle of nowhere.
