This small cottage was ideally situated in Amble, a busy fishing village even in early November. Close, too, to the local, excellent restaurants and pubs. The host was helpful and fun. The cottage is pet friendly and parking nearby is always possible. Thoroughly recommended.

The room was clean, the ensuite well lit but the bedroom was very dark, better lighting required. I prefer not to have meals with dogs in the restaurant. I do like dogs and have 2 dogs of my own. The receptionist who we checked in with was unfriendly and unhelpful.
