nice historic hotel in heart of Bethlehem

Pros: the hotel was very clean and provided us with all the amenities needed.
Cons: nothing needs to be improved.
Location: a great deal of shopping and dining places nearby , some within walking distance and others only a short drive.
I stayed at the Hotel Bethlehem because my daughter attends Moravian College. The Hotel met all of our needs. We were close to her and the area offers so many choices for shopping and dining. The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel also offers a beautiful atmosphere and a great deal of history. I highly recommend a stay here.

Dear Linda: Thank you very much for the kind words about your recent stay with us. We’re happy that you found us so convenient while visiting your daughter. We do sit in the center of Moravian College and offer a discount for friends & family. Walking around our historic district is fun and we’re glad that you enjoyed all that there is to see and do. We hope to see you again soon.

Lovely historic hotel in a charming town.

Pros: Very comfortable bed - elegant lobby and bar area. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Martin Guitar Suite . The bathroom was small and needed TLC. The Wallpaper had seen better days and corners of the tile floor needed cleaning.
Location: Charming town with interesting of history. Locals are friendly and helpful. Martin Guitar factory tour in Nazareth is not to be missed (30 minutes)
Great experience overall - would highly recommend and would return.

convenient; great staff

Pros: convenience
Cons: parking; should be access to the hotel via the back; the hotel may not chose this, though due to security concerns
Location: awesome restaurants; beautiful, quaint walking town; great shops
good; my only suggestion would be that room 505's a/c is not working well. There is an option to open the window which I chose not to do due to the possibility of birds flying in. It's wasn't so bad that i needed to complain; just something they need to have resolved before the hot weather comes.

Very pleasant.

Lovely town; nice hotel. Wish there was an entrance closer to parking, but other than that, clean, central and very nice historic hotel.

Great stay, Wonderful staff.

Pros: It is an older lady that has been nicely restored.
Cons: Clean room, nice area, great staff and convenient the place is a home run.
Location: Nice Spanish restaurant just down the street. Walking tour of the historical areas. Casino just a shuttle away. Brewpub two blocks away.
The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we pulled to the front door. Downtown Bethlehem was charming. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but it looked as if they had a nice crowd of local folks for their Sunday brunch. We could not asked for a nicer get away weekend.

Beautiful hotel in the midst of Musikfest

Pros: Lovely decor, friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. An easy walk to most music venues.
Cons: Hotel can be on the pricey side, especially given daily parking fee. Some might complain about the loud music heard from our room.I like it,however.
Location: I like the Moravian Bookstore and consignment shops. Also a beautiful church.
I'm a returning guest, always look forward to being here.Especially convenient to Musikfest.Plenty of food, cute shops, and of course in easy walking distance.Enjoy!

First-Rate Experience

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, friendly staff
The front desk staff could not have been more hospitable. The room was tasteful, comfortable and clean. Although the hotel is "historic" it had plenty of modern amenities. The location was great because it was within historic downtown and it was an easy 5-10 minute drive to Lehigh University. There is a fee for parking and there is no direct access from the lot to the hotel but I did not find this to be an issue. All in all I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bethlehem.

I love this old world hotel.

I love this old world hotel, however a lot of the staff is young and inexperienced. My Husband called the hotel to send my friend and I a bottle of wine as a suprise on our "girls getaway", and he was transfered to 3 different people, and then they did not even know how much the wine was. He gave up the suprise. This truly is not acceptable. We stay at the hotel often because we have business in the area, and have had other misshaps, that just need to be addressed and all would be good! I hope someone in charge reads this and can make the changes necessary with the young staff. thank you.
