Friendly and helpful staff, superglue clean rooms

Visited my granddaughter in Albuquerque and she stayed with me in the hotel; we made our sugar plums there because the kitchenette was clean and roomy; the hotel staff was very accommodating when I needed a screwdriver to put batteries in one of her Christmas gifts! Would definitely stay again! Laundry room is clean and washers hold A LOT of clothes!

Pretty Good for the Price

Pros: Great service from staff and great water pressure. No noise from other guests (no slamming doors or loud traffic, etc.)
Cons: Needs updating
Location: The location was great! Right by the Big I so very central to lots of things including Frontier Restaurant and Saggio's pizza (SOOOO good!).
Overall, pretty good room. You get what you pay for and that pretty much sums it up. Bed was comfy, staff was nice, great water pressure in the shower, room was clean, but sort of run down.

Totally Disgusting at any Price

Ever wonder what it would be like to stay at a hotel managed by a slumlord? Well check into this place and find out! Totally disgusting. We had a prepaid reservation (at a premium price due to the balloon fiesta) for 3 nights, but only stayed for two. We cut our trip to the balloon fiesta short because of it. The first night, we were put in a smoking room, even thought the reservation specifically stated non-smoking. The odor was terrible as was the room itself. I asked for a different room, but they had no vacancies. They agreed to let us move to a non-smoking room the next day. We stayed in that room the next night, but were too grossed out to stay the third. You'll definitely want to take a shower after a night's sleep in their beds, but you won't be alone! Roaches. They could definitely improve this place with a trip to Goodwill to replace mattresses, bedding, kitchenware, etc. And if that isn't enough, the plumbing is incredibly noisy. When your neighbors use their water, the pipes make a terrible racket. Don't trust the positive reviews on this site as I did. They are totally misleading. The picture of the room interior is misleading as well. Both the rooms we stayed in had cabinets in various states of disrepair. Don't say you haven't been warned!

Not the place to stay

Checked in to a room that had brackets for art work and NO ARTWORK. Countertop had someone's name carved into it. 1st Floor room and the window wouldnt lock. Bugs and more bugs in the bed, on the countertops and in the bathroom. Moved to another room that was nicer but not what we had expected. Pre-Paid room so we were kinda stuck. I would not stay here again. There are other options for extended stays close by, alittle more expensive but well worth it.

This Hotel was excellent value for the price.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel is a bit tricky to find the first time and I did not see many resturants right around it however for the price it was warm, clean, quiet and comfortable. For the price it was an excellent value.
