Hallway smelled like marijuana. I didn’t feel safe. No one was working breakfast (wiping down tables and counters), trash of sugar packets and creamer containers were piling up, people showed up to breakfast in their pajamas (not the fault of the hotel; more a comment on the level of clientele…the guests are always dressed at La Quinta). Anyway, we won’t ever go back.

When we arrived at the property, everything was dirty in the room, the air didn't work, the toilet was very loose, the bathtub sink was loose and leaking water everywhere, the bathtub was clogged, the water didn't drain, when we took a shower they never cleaned the room, we asked for towels and they didn't give us any, the pool was dirty and there were two cockroaches in the water, there was a lot of noise from everywhere and the people in front of the desk didn't pay attention to you, when you spoke to them they ignored you, it was the first time we stayed there and the last time.

Front desk clerk Albert was very nice. The place is a little run down our bathroom fan squeaked so loud we left it off. The hallway carpet was dirty and a light smell. Didnt know there was no elevator. I have a bad knee to walk upstairs. Thank goodness albert helped.

They have signs saying they are under construction, doing uogrades and they did indeed change the carpets out in the rooms for flooring, and are still working on that. The hallway carpets always had debris and trash and big dirty spots. The beds were uncomfortable. The towels were thread bare and desperately need replacing. 😫 The pool and hot tub area were clean and enjoyable.

The room was outdated and the carpets looked dirty. The bed was super firm and felt like sleeping on a board. Though they did give notice of renovations and had signs posted we were not given notice they would be working on putting in new floors and they were pounding hammers 2 doors down from our room at 6 a.m. This may improve overall appearance but to do this at this time was rude and not appropriate.

Check in was smooth, customer service great. The location had several homeless around and one laying in front of the entrance upon arrival. Not the hotel’s faulty but not the best feeling traveling alone.
