The room was nice but a little small. We only stayed one night and it was fine. The front desk clerk was really nice.

We always enjoy hearing from our guests, and we're glad you felt welcome upon arrival. However, we apologize for any concerns about the size of the room. Our staff is always happy to show you other available options. The next time you're in town, we'd be honored to host you again.

We always stay here. Love it! It’s close to the interstate. Have never had any problems here.

Mediocre Hotel

Room floor was dirty in the corners, and there was apparent mold in the bathroom ceiling. Otherwise, not bad. The advertised pool and hot tube were drained "for routine maintenance" but I saw nothing happening.

I do apologize in regards to the pool. There was quite a bit happening as we did have the doors and windows covered and our workers were coming in from the back entrance. We just had our entire ceiling redone as well as pool and hot tub acid washed for the convenience of our guests. The pool is back up and running at this time. We do hope to see you back and try us out again.

Very nice room for few hours rest

Some of previous ratings were low but our room was quite nice. Hot and cold breakfast was very nice. Motel well secured after 8:00 pm. Room keys needed to get insid after dark. Quick off and on freeway. Located on far north side of town

Not up to par for Comfort Inn

Pros: The elevator worked. It had a nice hot tub whirlpool.
Cons: Read above
The fan on the A/C sounded as if someone was shoveling rocks outside the window. The electrical outlets on the base of the lamps did not work. The room was smaller than most Comfort Inn rooms. The trim around the door openings (at the bottom) was coming loose. The scrambled eggs were over cooked. The steet address is wrong. Our GPS took us to the correct address which was on a dead end street which did not provide access to the hotel. The correct turn-in (from a different street) had no sign indicating it was the route to a somewhat hidden hotel location.

Thanksgiving Reunion 2015

Pros: This location was likely under former ownership (Holiday Inn Express), but without the high price tag! :)
Cons: Optional Firm mattress
Location: Access to I-25, Paseo del Norte and Alameda. Great location for Balloon Fiesta in first week of October. Burger King and Chevron next door
Great price for the holiday weekend, also a significant milestone birthday w/family converging in ABQ from various parts of the country. Ideal location, about 1.5 miles from family. No bugs in room, parking well-lit & our furry-friend had access to a well-kept grassy area conveniently located a few short steps out the side exit/entry from our king suite. High ceilings felt cozy and home-like for the 5 night stay. Breakfast above average, nice array of fresh fruit. While the bathroom felt a bit tight w/dated counter-top, it was kept clean and tidy. Fresh towels every day even though we followed directions for conservation. The 3rd day, noticed a small beetle in the hallway clearly expired, and was vacuumed away by the time we came back that evening. Appreciated having electrical outlets in lamps, free access to Wi-Fi, a place for valuables in the coat closet safe, plus iron/board. The only disappointment would be that the bed was a bit too cushy for us, as we're accustomed to a firm mattress. That said, after adjusting to the first night, we slept peacefully without any noise or disturbances on the Serta mattress which appeared to be brand new. Staff were helpful late in the evening when I forgot my key to gain entry through the front doors, which are locked promptly at 10:00 p.m., providing an extra measure of feeling safe. Hot tub and pool area looked and smelled clean. As native ABQ's, we give this place a thumbs-up and will stay again if circumstances necessitate

Excellent Property with Easy Access from I-25

Pros: Cleanliness, pleasant staff, location.
Cons: Ice Maker on each floor but one on first floor was easy to access. We were on third floor.
Location: Sandia Casino, Balloon Festival Park, Sandia Peak Tram
We wanted to stay on north and close to Casino for an evening before our flight out the following morning. This property seemed to fit the bill and we weren't disappointed. Motel staff were very pleasant and check-in was a breeze. Property has an indoor pool on the first level. Rooms are clean and extremely comfortable bed. It is located behind some commercial establishment right off the interstate which makes entry a little complicated but we had GPS which aided in getting to property. Although right next to interstate, we were not bothered by any road noise. Would definitely stay here again for our next trip to the Land of Enchantment.

great location otherwise just okay

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: tired hotel
this hotel is in a great location, easy access on and off the highway. there's also a gas station right next door. other than that, not so much. a large part of why we picked the hotel was the indoor pool (not many budget hotels in the area have indoor pools) and it was closed for maintenance the entire week we were there. on two occasions the ice machine was not working. the hotel itself is just kind of tired, the mattresses were so worn out. we were happy with the cleanliness of the room, the maids seemed to do a good job. breakfast was pretty standard. the front desk staff was decent but i felt like they were really stressed out, like the management didn't care about them or the hotel. we were really disappointed because we've always had good experiences with comfort inns, i guess this one is 'privately owned.' we paid a little bit more to stay there too and it was kind of a bummer. if you are just passing through and need a convenient place to stay this is fine but for a whole week's vacation not so much.
