Plus and Minus
The unit was clean and the new bathroom was lovely. Most of the kitchen supplies were tired and well used. The balcony with soaking pool was in rough shape with loose nails, loose boards and a very tired umbrella and furnishings. The location of the unit was very close to the central square which had advantages & disadvantages; approximately 70 steep stairs to climb, loud music until 3-4 am every night. We found out that if all the windows( which were very good quality) we’re closed and a fan was on until morning you couldn’t hear much of the party noise. The unit had very good locks & windows in a nice area so we felt very safe. Had a bit of difficulty finding the unit after dark on our first night but hostess was quick to respond & offer guidance.

A Lovely Get-a-way
We had a great time exploring the area and enjoyed our stay very much. Once the weather was sunny we made good use of the balcony and deck area! Kitchen was well equipped and new bathroom to boot!

Beautiful house in Albufeira
We have just spent a beautiful week in Karen’s house in old town Albufeira.. We, a family of 4(2 adults 2 kids aged 11 and almost 13) had a great time.. Cecelia arrived with the keys within minutes of us calling to say we had arrived .. simple and straightforward and was on call to answer any questions not that we had many! Karen organised the airport transfer for us and it was brilliant.. as we were leaving very early in with morning (4.30am start)it was great to have a transfer organised and communication with ErikandSophie transfers was brilliant.. highly recommend this taxi/transfer company! A small but perfectly formed dip pool is out on the deck as shown in the photos and we all enjoyed cooling off in it! The house is only a 3 min walk from old town square, but it is 82 steps from front door to the old town!! The first day these were daunting but by the end of our week we found them no bother and it helped keep us fit and walk off all the lovely ice cream, desserts and cocktails that we had!! Casa Nova is a beautiful restaurant for an evening meal (booking advised),beautiful Portuguese food and brilliant staff.. we even got a shot of port after our meal on our first visit! vertigo on the square was lovely for light lunch and very reasonable.. we met a lovely waitress there called Alicia! There are beautiful traditional restaurants off the beaten track and down by the marina and we also had a lovely meal down by the beach in Esplanada do tunnel restaurant ! We spent a day at Zoomarine which was a great fun family day out! Thank you Karen for all your recommendations and all your help.. we will certainly book again if we get to return to Albuferia! And we would recommend this lovely house to family and friends Kind regards Irene and Family… Ireland

Lovely villa in an excellent location.
Everything you need in the property covered and outside table,chairs and loungers with the added bonus of a dip pool. Very clean and towels etc changed weekly.

It was a really easy going trip in a lovely house with its own pool! Would recommend to anyone who wants to have a Portuguese holiday. The views from the patio are beautiful. Thanks for a brilliant and needed holiday.

Perfect 12 night stay
Property was in the perfect location for us - near to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops... Christmas /New Year spent in the property catered for all our needs....great outside space that we were able to use daily due to the sun shining from the day we arrived until we left... Excellent communication with Karen - (the owner) also Celia the lady who looks after the property would be there at the drop of a hat if you needed any help... If we returned to Portugal in the future we would definitely return if available - -

A great home from home
This a fantastic property, well equipped with all the things you need to make great holiday and a few more besides. We also found Karen the owner very good, she responded to our emails very quickly, booked our transfers. We could not have booked a better holiday home

Beautiful house!patio area was a great size and pool was bigger than we expected.loved all the extras eg. Cooler boxes, beach umbrella,inflatables.great location two minutes from square down the steps.very well equipped kitchen.great wardrobe space with plenty of hangers.only one fault could have done with a spare set of keys.overall fantastic week ,will defiantly be looking to stay again .thanks karen!

Great villa, close to the old square
A very clean and well equipped property. Great decking area which is private and gets the sun all day until about 1800. Lots of places to drink and eat nearby. Perfect for a couple or family stay. It’s exactly 100 steps from the old town square to the villa door, but it helped to burn all the extra calories we put on during the evenings! Recommend for sure.
