"The views from this lodge are absolutely out of this world — truly breathtaking and worth the trip on their own. You feel immersed in Alaska’s wild beauty with Denali right in front of you. That said, the rooms themselves are extremely basic. They look and feel more like a boy scout camp cabin than a lodge in such an extraordinary location. Very barebones, no charm or comfort touches you’d expect given the setting. If you come here, come for the views and the location — but don’t expect the accommodations to match the scenery."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was very small for 2 adults with 3 suitcases. The view of the river and mountains was wonderful. I am glad we did not select the courtyard view since the courtyard was a dark hallway between the individual unit entries on either side. Great place for the price. The heater was adequate for the 45 degrees from last night, but it may be weak on colder nights. "

"Very well equipped cabin. Clean and tastefully decorated. Both the bed and sofa were comfortable. We rented two other cabins in this trip and while this was the most expensive, it was totally worth and was the nicest of the three . "
