Hyatt Select Valdosta
"This is a new hotel so it's beautiful and everything is clean. Parking is FREE which shouldn't be a big deal, but with so many hotels now charging for parking, it's refreshing to not be fleeced for having a car. The staff, from the front desk (shoutout to Destiny), to housekeeping is very friendly. The bathrooms are nice-sized with walk-in showers (though the water pressure, especially at the sink, was low) and the rooms are nice-sized with plenty of cubbyhole storage. My only complaint is that breakfast sucks! They always serve these little egg white frittatas, and I love frittas, but these are not good and no one wants them all the time!! I know Hyatt Select is on a lower tier than Hyatt Place but the breakfast is a disservice to the Hyatt brand and its customers. The coffee is good. If you stay here, budget for breakfast elsewhere."
