Abrantes Hotel & Travel Guide\n
There are limited places to put your feet up in or around Abrantes's downtown. We recommend all visitors book your room early if you'd like to stay central.
The Vale de Ferreiros is the nearest to the downtown precinct of Abrantes and the only option within easy driving distance.
The Hotel Dos Templarios is around 18 miles (30 kilometers) from the downtown area of Abrantes. Or, alternatively, the Solar de Alvega can be found approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers) away. Some other hotels and apartment options are the Residencia Santa Marta and the Ninho do Falcão.
When you've got the time, adventurous explorers should explore the other cultural and scenic delights of Lisbon and Tagus Valley. Investigate Lisbon and Tagus Valley's ruins, castles and traditional villages or fall in love with its beaches and coastal plains. Common pastimes in this part of Portugal include mountain climbing, hiking and caving.
17 miles (28 kilometers) to the northwest of Abrantes, you can find Tomar, which is where you can visit Convento de Cristo and Praca da Republica. When you want to spend a few nights in Tomar, be sure to check out the Residencial União and Hotel Trovador. 30 miles (45 kilometers) to the northwest of Abrantes, you'll also find Fatima, which features the Lux Mundi and Dom Goncalo Hotel & Spa. Should you choose to stay in Fatima, set aside a little time to check out the Wax Museum and Church of the Most Holy Trinity.
Before leaving Santarem, why not make sure you are able to join crowds watching a thrilling match. Stop by Estadio Cidade de Coimbra, located north of Abrantes. Travelocity customers who enjoy the idea of checking in to a room in the neighborhood, book a room in the Quinta Das Lagrimas or Tivoli Coimbra.
Portela Airport is located 70 miles (111 kilometers) outside Abrantes's downtown. Visitors who hope to find a base nearby can find a night at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon or the Myriad by SANA Hotels.

"The room was great!! Set up for 5. They provided 3 single beds in the family room with a separate couch as well. And a large primary room with 2 singles pushed together. The only reason I dropped one star was because the bathroom had some mould in the corners of the shower. It didn’t bother me much but I imagine others would want to know. They include breakfast, which was pretty good. Not much selection in terms of fruit, but plenty of baked goods. We took the opportunity to make a couple of sandwiches to have for lunch. This hotel is only a 10 min walk to Fatima shrine and on the way there are many shops to browse. Overall a great stay and I would recommend."
