A Welcome Calm within the Urban Storm!

Pros: Great staff, good location, roomy space, good bathroom, relaxing and quiet.
Cons: Lighting for the sink and bed area.
Location: Location is in an area that is walkable to almost everything you might want to see and do in Buenos Aires.
This small and intimate hotel has a welcoming and helpful staff, wonderful and quiet rooms, and great breakfasts. We had many questions and there was always help and support. When I wanted to know and easy way to get somewhere, we learned about the SUBE card that was shred with us along with directions on how to use it and what buses we needed to use. When I wanted to understand mate, we were invited to share the hierba in the way they do. We wanted to see a tango show and this was arranged with facility. We were interested in Argentine cinema and they recommended DVDs we could watch in our room. We enjoyed Nueve Reinas especially. Good restaurants, nearby shops, strategies to get to a destination, mailing postcards, all was done with a great spirit.

Staff Great...Hotel Convenient

Pros: we like it...modern, minimal decor...good neighborhood, convenient. Breakfast if fine and somewhat made to order...small but that was fine.
Cons: We probably shoulda booked a front room but honestly we weren't there that much so in the overall it didn't really matter...
Location: The location if fine...close to the major Mall and the main shopping street. Museums close by...can walk to most of the things or take a cab..
The staff is really terrific...knowledgable, helpful, friendly and English is good, too. They were very helpful in getting us started and kept us going to places and things we might not have gone to. Take their bus excursion, I think $50 in cash....better than others. Change money in blue...up the main shopping street there is a small "street Mall" with cameras in the window, go into the mall and there is an exchange room there...safe, honest, quick. Gotta have a steak (maybe more than once) we went to Cabrera Norte and it was quite good and we had a great bottle of Malbec..yea lots of people and touristy but so what...Aramburu is really find and jewel, off the beaten path (7 course meal with wine pairings, creative.) super but not cheap , so what! Hotel staff made reservation for everything we did!! We did the tango at Almacen, twas okay...gotta do it but we didn't want the Broadway production...gave us the flavor and fun. Lots of walking, it's that kinda town....little Paris or NYC, I guess, but it's fun to just explore...lots of surprises....enjoy!
