The room was very clean and inviting. Two comfy chairs allowed us to get cozy while watching TV. The view from the room of the hillside was wonderful, especially with the Christmas lights and a full moon. It was a delightful stay and we will be back on our next trip to Salida!

Monarch Mountain Lodge
Close to Monarch Mountain, clean and affordable. Restaurant was an added bonus for early mornings, the wait staff was attentive. The food was quick and fresh.

We loved our weekend at Fox Den, which has the best mountain views. We didn't see any wildlife, but they are said to have bobcat, deer, elk, turkey, and even a moose family in the area! We'll just have to go back again to see the animals ;) The house is amazing and the area/property is very quiet ...
