Kakao Lodge & Garden Río Celeste
"The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. Posada Río Celeste La Amistad
"We only stayed one night. We chose Posado Río Celeste La Amistad to swim in the blue Rio Celeste River on their property. This was the perfect place to get a $ 5 USD-a-piece ticket within walking distance of the hotel. It's family-owned, and they take such pride in their establishment. We were upgraded to the Superior Cabin, which is very spacious and quiet. The abuela (grandma) took us on a night walk to see many frogs in the garden. There were several dogs and cats, and a talking parrot, on the property, in addition to hummingbirds and other beautiful birds. Breakfast is included and delicious. No air, but plenty of fans. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a rustic, eco-friendly stay. Make sure you speak Spanish or have a phone translator, as the family speaks Spanish."
