Staying at Primm Hotels
A tiny town located on the border between California and Nevada, and just a short distance from Las Vegas, Primm is a retreat for gamblers seeking a quieter venue than Sin City. The city's entertainment and economy is based around its three casinos: Buffalo Bill's, Primm Valley Resort, and Whiskey Pete's (named for the town's founder, a bootlegger named Pete MacIntyre). Find a room in a Primm hotel near or at one of the casinos and indulge yourself in games of chance, live music, and a hopping nightlife scene. For the adventurous, Buffalo Bill's is the site of The Desperado, one of the tallest roller coasters in North America.
There are also a handful of Primm cheap hotels for those who don't want to stay at the casino, all offering comfortable lodgings and easy access to the town. Book a room near Highway 15 and head out to Ivanpah Lake, a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert that hosts off-road races and occasionally sees motor enthusiasts attempting to set world speed records. Ivanpah is also a popular land-sailing destination, and on certain days you can see the daredevils zooming across the barren lake.
