Places to Stay at in Colombo
Colombo is a relatively easy city to find your way around, and the different Colombo hotels are located at prominent areas of the city. The Fort district in the North is the country’s business center, which has department stores, book shops, luxury hotels, airline offices. Plus, it is the site of the Central Bank and the World Trade Center.
At the south is Galle Face Green, which has a seafront expanse, and hotels for you to choose between a cheap Colombo hotel or a high-priced one. Further south is Cinnamon Gardens, which is a posh area, full of posh places to stay at. Towards the east is the pungent Pettah bazaar district, which has very few low-priced hotels.
