Awful experience at the reception. We got a last minute deal through Expedia but the lady at reception was very condescending because we got a good deal. She kept telling in front of her customers and colleagues how good of a deal we got and how they never give it for so less. What is it to her ? Very inflexible when it came to providing a room after the bed was squeaking and was not clean. Definitely complaining to her manager.

Very clean modern style hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location walkable to restaurants, activities and transit. Only detraction was the music from outdoor skating for most of day. Was unaware of that, would had preferred to have room on other side of hotel had I known.

Hotel is very clean and modern. I like the no contact check-in and how we can just use our phones as keys. There are a lot of dining options and shops around the area. The only thing I didn’t like is the noise. It’s right beside the ice skating rink. It is noisy as they play loud music until 9 or 10pm also around 10am in the morning. Also, as it is not a high rise building, other people might see you in the room if you open your blinds. Other than that I would stay here again but will pick a different room. It wasn’t worth it to pick the ‘shipyards’ room since you can’t really open the blinds/curtains without having the risk people seeing you in the room.
