"The room rate was very reasonable, but they will nickle and dime you on everything else."
Their fridge was stocked with Hotel items for you to buy at a very inflated price and there was no room for your own items. The hotel is designed to make it nearly impossible to have your own food and drink in your room, unless you bring your own ice chest. There is no microwave in your room. The restaurant is overpriced but the buffet next to it is reasonable but not cheap nor expensive. I would stay here again and bring my ice chest next time. To use their internet connection is 10 bucks extra a day.

"HOT PICK!!!!!"
The most welcoming, friendly and accommodating hotel I've stayed in lately. It is the only Native American owned property in Santa Fe and the ambiance and décor reflects just that. This is my second stay and I'm ready to book next year.

"Nice place. a little out of the way, but they make up for it w/ free transportation to town. BUT: Gotta get hi-def TVs and movie channels!!"
Again, good place and nice staff. But the TVs must be two decades old and the absence of movie channels is like a hotel from the mid-80's.

"Nice room...great location...great price"
The room was very nice. The hotel was interesting and is in a great location. You won't find a nicer hotel at this price in downtown Santa Fe.  They also serve a great breakfast at the patio restaurant on the second floor...although it is not included.

"La Quinta quality, affordable"
Spent 3 nights while attending a wedding. Very satisfied. Clean, ground floor access, a bit far from downtown, but the rates were excellent, plenty of parking.

"Okay but kind of smoky and noisy."
The beds were fine and everything was clean (if rather spartan) but the whole hotel (including the room) smelled vaguely of smoke. This isn't surprising given that it's connected to a rather smoky casino. The biggest complaint I had is that the walls were pretty thin and people were walking down the hallways (presumably back from the casino) at all hours of the night and were rather loud. Usually I'd turn on a fan to block out that sort of noise but there was none in the room. Also, while the person checking me in told me it came with free breakfast (and gave me two vouchers), that wasn't actually true unless you signed up for the casino's players program. By the time I realized that fact, breakfast was almost over and it was too late.

"A Taste of Northern New Mexico"
This is a beautiful property located around the Loretto Chapel, and conveys the essence of northern New Mexico to the visitor. I find the bedrooms a little dark, at least those on the north side of the hotel, but they are comfortable and well-appointed. We have stayed at this hotel throughout it's history, and continue to find it relaxing and appealing. You should note that there is a daily resort fee, and a daily valet parking fee (pretty necessary because parking in downtown Santa Fe is very limited).

"Great Place to Stay Near Santa Fe Historic District"
We visited in October 2012 for a full week. The Fort Marcy Suites are great for a family. Our room was spacious and convenient to the historic district of Santa Fe. The decor was nice and the corner fireplace was enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time there, but there were a few minor drawbacks. We were expecting a foldout bed in the living room, but it was a simple couch, which caused us some challenges arranging three clildren and two adults in two beds. The pool closed at 7:00, which was very inconvenient for post-sightseeing relaxation, and the kids were rabid to swim. The hot tub was small and the jets weren't working. We also had some spider issues with fall coming on, but that was fairly expected and I'm brave and was able to recue the children. It would have been good to have firewood available in the office for purchase. Overall, we loved the comfort, decor, and locale. We recommend the Fort Marcy Suites.
