"This hotel was conveniently located in the downtown area next to my office. It is a great choice for business travel."
This hotel is located in a convenient area of downtown. It is a great choice for business travel. Hotel room was clean and the bar in the lobby was fun. You know you're in Texas when there's cattle hide upholstery!

"Close to downtown attractions"
This was our first time in Houston and we didn't realize quite how spread out it was, therefore this hotel had 2 major benefits for us. 1) It was near attractions in walking distance like the Aquarium, Buffalo Bayou walk and several nice restaurants, coffee shops and bars 2) It was close to main public transport links with bus stops to several destinations (we used the 249/246 buses to go to the NASA Johnson Space Center) and the Metro Tram Central Station was only a block or so away and ubers were almost instant. Breakfast was ok but it depended how early you went as to how hot the hot food was, I went early on our first day and it was hot and later on on our last day and some items such as the sausage was barely warm at all. The coffee was nice. We weren't around for the free evening drinks but we did partake in milk and cookies one day and these types of parks were very nice additions and something I've not had at previous hotels (usually it's a free soup or a free cookie but varies per day) These perks are on offer every day and the times were explained to us upon check-in. The room itself was spacious, and clean - unfortunately they are doing construction next door to the hotel so our view was mainly a view of a building site... not great but not the hotel's fault, either! The only downside of the room was that the bath was uneven, had some cracks in it and a layer of paint/plastic coming up. It was purely cosmetic and I forgot to report it. Rm 707 hotel for mgmt
