Overall, I was pleased with the hotel. There wasn't anything spectacular about the room, but it did the job. It was nice and comfortable, very comfortable large king sized bed. The room could use some updating, they still had an old, outdated TV. However, while we were there they were posting signs stating they were updating to plazmas that week. Hotel staff was friendly, hotel restaurant is extraordinarily high priced. The parking garage was horrible. The spaces are so incredibly close I nearly hit the other cars each time, and the room we had was a very of the parking garage which left a lot to be desired. However, the location of the hotel was AMAZING. There was a little market steps from the hotel, Old Spaghetti Factory RIGHT outside the front doors, along with a few bars like Tilten Kilt (I believe that's the name of it), it was literally a 15 minute walk to Eaton Center Mall, Dundas Square, and CN Tower. We didn't use our car once, it was great. Another great thing is the town felt so safe, we walked down to Dundas Square on a Tuesday evening at midnight and I didn't feel in the least bit nervous or uneasy walking down there. They also have bikes you can rent to get around the city also. I will make mention that the city is undergoing a LOT of construction, it looks like a bomb went off in certain parts, I think they're doing work on the subway, I can't be sure, but there are several streets shut down and hard to even walk around. The Esplanades, which is the street the hotel is located on, is under construction too so it was a little different to maneuver, but nothing unmanageable, I still had an excellent time!!
