Have used Travelocity on line many times. Works well, though the reservation on which I paid extra to get a “better” seat won’t let me pick a seat. That probably has nothing to do with your service.

I booked a trip on Travelocity, but when I checked out, found that only the return leg was paid for. I called customer service and talked to a woman who tried to help. She called Spirit which would have been the first part of the trip. She said the flight I wanted was not available, though when I was checking out it looked like I was paying for a round-trip ticket.
I then went on Hotwire and booked the first part of my trip.
I was disappointed at the experience with Travelocity and will probably not use it again.
