I want a refund of my $44. My reservation was canceled by Hertz even though I gave my flight information — the flight was delayed and they canceled after one hour and they had no other cars. Also Travelocity led me to believe that I was buying mandatory insurance for the Hertz Rent-A-Car when in fact it was some extra policy from Expedia that I did not want.

Overall, I continue to use it for convenience, but I know from hard experience how terrible the customer service can be if there are every any problems. Recently booked a trip to Vegas, but travelocity “conveniently” forgot to inform me of the restriction on United’s new super-budget fare were. If I had known there was a level of service that was somehow even worse than United’s coach, I absolutely would have spent more to avoid it. Unfortunately, now I’m stuck on a flight that I’m already dreading, and of course I can’t change it without giving travelocity another $100…
