¡Descansando en un notable rancho de 100 acres que también alberga burros, vacas, pavos y muchos otros animales salvajes emocionantes! Esta propiedad es absolutamente ideal para vacaciones familiares o una escapada de novias. ¡Esta casa de 3 habitaciones viene equipada con suficiente espacio para hasta 12 huéspedes!

Cuando se detenga en el área de estacionamiento cubierto y se dirija a la casa, inmediatamente se enamorará de la abundancia de ventanas que se derraman en el hermoso entorno al aire libre y las vistas de las brillantes aguas de la piscina y el spa en el suelo. La sala de estar formal es una característica exquisita con grandes columnas masculinas, muebles elegantes y colores cálidos que hacen de este un lugar perfecto para relajarse.

¡Esta casa única tiene una cocina gourmet que es el sueño de todo cocinero! Hay cuatro taburetes que rodean un diseño de cocina abierta de gran tamaño completo con cajón calentador, isla grande con estufa de 5 quemadores y refrigerador de acero inoxidable con puerta francesa. Justo al lado de la cocina hay una pintoresca área de desayuno, así como una segunda sala de estar con muebles de cuero, chimenea de leña y un gigantesco televisor de pantalla plana.

Ubicado en el ala izquierda de la casa, se encuentra una oficina que contiene un escritorio grande, un mini bar con fregadero y refrigerador para vinos, un sofá cama para acomodaciones adicionales y la gran suite principal. Con una lujosa cama king size, TV de pantalla plana y todas las características favoritas de las damas ... enorme baño principal con dos vestidores, dos tocadores, bañera de hidromasaje y cabina de ducha.

Ubicado en el ala derecha, encontrará dos dormitorios más. Hay una sala de literas configurada con 2 juegos de literas muy bonitas que se conectan a través de un baño de jack-and-jill a otra habitación muy espaciosa que contiene una lujosa cama king size y TV de pantalla plana.

We enjoyed our stay! We have a big family arms it was nice to have a central location where we could go and celebrate Thanksgiving together. There were plenty of pots, pans & cookware for us to grill one night and have a nice Thanksgiving. The fire pit was great; we enjoyed being out back. We did not use the hot tub or pool, but that would be nice at a different time of year. Thank you for a Thanksgiving filled with family.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting!

We had a great time at this property! One item I marked down was for the BBQ grill was not usable without the risk of a major fire. The grill was severely corroded and was in very poor shape, so plan on cooking on the stove only! Water pressure could be a little better but what a great place to stay!

Great spacious house, great communication

We had a really great stay at the house - overall it was spacious and very comfortable and on a really beautiful piece of property. It was low on a few household supplies (ie dishsoap), but nothing inconvenient. The internet wasn’t working during our stay, but the host was really thoughtful and generous and offered several ways to remedy the situation. Really great and speedy responses from the host ! Thank you for all!!

Horrible check in

Did not provide the code to the gate. Had to sit in the sun with groceries until we finally got a message with the code. Then the WiFi password was wrong. Very frustrating check in. Place was big and clean. Refrigerator broke the first day; but this was not the owners fault.

Family Fun Together

My immediate and extended family had a great time together in Wimberley, TX staying at the Star Ranch (we rented both the Main House and the Cottage). The Main House is spacious and lovely. In fact, the 14 photos on VRBO do not adequately represent the generous size and positive features of this property. The VRBO description is also inaccurate in some regards. FYI – The description says the Main House “has a gourmet kitchen that is every cook’s dream”. It is a very nice big kitchen, but we felt it was insufficiently stocked with dishes and utensils for the size and quality of the home. In addition to the dining area that seats 8, the breakfast area that seats 4, and the 4 kitchen counter stools, there is also a nice dining table on the rear patio that seats 6. The 3rd Bedroom (bunk room) of the Main House currently has 3 sets of bunk beds and the 2nd Bedroom of the Cottage has 1 set of bunk beds. The Cottage is located on the property, but is up the private drive about ½ mile from the Main House. There are some simple things that we feel should be done and/or provided which would make the experience more enjoyable for guests at this property, and we have emailed the owner with these specific suggestions. During our stay, my family enjoyed swimming, taking walks, scenic drives, shopping, visiting wineries, an olive orchard, a beer brewery, and a rum distillery, golf in Blanco, lunch at The Leaning Pear, barbecue from Miss Mae’s, and pies from The Sugar Shack. The two “friendly donkeys” on the property were amusing (wish we knew their names). Of course, the highlight for our family was just spending time together. This was a great place for doing that!

Beautiful Secluded Spot

Lovely house with plenty of room. Was very clean with plenty of space for 10 adults. Very private spot, but still close to cute eateries and beer gardens. Just be aware, Texas has a lot of fire ants and scorpions, so keep that in mind as this property is rural.

Thanksgiving Adventure!

The home's flowing floorplain (4 toilets) and furnishings were very impressive. Everyone had their privacy and lots of room to explore the grounds. Our main disappointment was that the pool was not clean and we could not use it. Over all our Thanksgiving adventure was priceless! We even saw wild turkeys cross the lawn in the mornies. We hope to come back again one day

Great location and property

Floors were dirty. After walking barefoot inside the house, the bottoms of our feet were black. Dirty water while cleaning up? Coffee machine was not clean. Majority of the kitchen drawers had crumbs and dirt inside. Refrigerator had a leak, at lower bottom front door. Water was leaking on to the floor at all times. Had to keep a towel there to mop up the water. Very nice, large home with dated furtniture. Dish TV was not very relieable. Pool and patio was great and the road to the house a one-of-a-kind driveway, nice that is. Would recommend anyone wanting peace and quite to rent this location.

Relaxation

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay. Everyone really loved the pool and scenic views from the back porch. It was very quiet and peaceful. We wanted to get away and relax and that’s exactly what we got to do here. The house had everything we needed. It smelt clean when we walked in. No one had any issues during our stay. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to relax.

Family Vacation

Everything was good just minor things, kept me from giving a 5 star. We all enjoyed the pool very much there was a scorpion but that was the only one we saw. Also inside the house when we arrived there was a cricket and wasp in the master room. Overall we all had so much fun it was a great getaway from all going around at the time. We will definitely come back.

Property is beautiful, peaceful, private, but only 4 miles from an HEB. The decor is beautiful , spacious and welcoming. Easy access and clear instructions for arrival. Sleeping accommodations are as stated with extra linen available in closets.The home itself is in need of some maintenance. Doors that are very difficult, to impossible to close, debris in corners, and window seals. Floors were not clean, because you could not walk barefoot in home without getting dirty feet. The pool is very pretty but there is no lighting; my sons had to do some cleaning before using. Must bring your own water, sulfur smell in all sinks/faucets with use.Fantastic utility room for laundry,etc. Would not work for handicapped clientele. These are a few things that are disappointing for the daily charge and fees. Probably would do some more comparison shopping before using again.

Great overall impression

Everything was great except it smelled slightly musty when we came in. The house was clean and outdoor pool was great...scenery was great . There would be only one complaint I would have and that would be...to the 2nd to left drawer to the sink in the kitchen was filled full of mold and I can provide a picture. Other than that it's a great place it's comfortable it's roomy and it's clean. Is they clean out that drawer and freshenen up the smell of the place... I would think it would be nearly perfect

Beautiful place, Great amenities!!

We have enjoyed every single minute of our stay at this place. It is a huge property, plenty of space. Pool is good, Hot tub is alright. Kitchen, utensils, glasses, towels, pillows and bedsheets are all clean and well maintained. There are a few minus like WIFi is not up the mark and the bunk bed room is a bit hot. But we are all extremely Satisfied with our stay. Will definitely come back.

Great for big groups!

We stayed at Star Ranch for a wedding in Dripping Springs and over New Years. It was great for a big group. We had 12 people, but we really could've fit 13 people in beds. There is a king in the master, a queen in one guest room, 5 single beds and a full-size bed in the bunk room, and a pull-out in the office. This doesn't include couches or places for blow-up mattresses either. The guest room and the bunk room have a Jack-and-Jill type bathroom. This is in addition to a half-bath, the master bath, and a giant full-length mirror in the entry way, which was perfect for all 8 girls to get ready. The only reason I am giving 4 stars, instead of 5, is the fact that the fridge/freezer broke halfway through our visit. The property manager didn't see my message right away. When she did, she came right over to check it out though. Unfortunately with it being right around New Years, no repair man would come out. Thankfully, it was cold enough outside that we could keep the salvageable food out there in coolers. The property manager also offered to go get us a giant cooler and ice if we needed it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful house

We spent the weekend with 9 girls in this house and it was amazing. Plenty of room for us all with lots to do. The house was clean and well maintained. It has a real homey feel. The owner responded to all questions in a timely manner before, during, and after our stay. The house is off the road about 3/4 a mile and it makes you feel like you are secluded but you are just minutes from Wimberley. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Fun time!

Overall, we had a fabulous stay. The house was spacious and had a great kitchen and hang out area. The property was gorgeous and we loved the back patio. The owner was quick to respond with questions. When we arrived, the home did not greet us well. It was musty and took awhile to air out. There were dirty towels in the laundry room and overall we did not feel the home was as clean or as well equipped as the amount we paid for it. It would also help to have directions for locating the lights on the back patio.
