Beautiful house. Deer come and go all day to get fed. Very short walk to the river. Very relaxing. No need to over pack, all kichen imitates supplied and a grocery store a few minutes away. We will definitely be back. Lots of fun shops in town

Perfect retreat

Beautiful riverfront property

We loved this little house on the river! It is a super clean, well decorated, peaceful little place minutes from town but very private and secluded. We would definitely go back!

Sisters in law weekend

The place was wonderful. So clean and well stocked. Private and relaxing, but still really close to everything. We recharged our batteries and are ready for all the work that goes into the holidays.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind!

The property was so beautiful and well maintained. It was nice to be tucked away, yet still so close to the square. There are so many spots to go kick up your feet and enjoy a different view of the area and the river. The property manager was also very communicative and helpful. The house is well stocked so it’s easy to cook a gourmet meal or cook some burgers. It was a 10 out of 10 stay and we’ll definitely look forward to coming back in the future!

Great Place

This is one of the best VRBO’s that I have stayed in. The house was clean and well updated. Everything was prepared perfectly for our arrival. The guitar by the fire place was even in tune. Highly recommend.

Ideal Getaway in Wimberly

A beautiful home nestled by the Blanca River right as you enter Wimberly. It manages to be both secluded and yet have convenient access to the nearby town. The hosts have gone out of their way to furnish the home beautifully and it was exceedingly well cared for and clean. We plan to visit many more times.

Perfect GW Getaway!

This home is absolutely beautiful - better than pics! This home was perfect for our small girls weekend getaway. The owners thought of everything. Home was beautifully decorated, beds were amazing, covered porch was cozy for late night chats. Location was prime - super close to town but felt remote. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful!

Loved this place! Great backyard and area outside to hang out. Some deer visited us in the backyard. The decoration and space was so beautiful and made us feel at home. The fire pit area by the river was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place!

River Run vacay

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend! Everything is as shown, clean, cute, nicely decorated, and close to many restaurants and shops. Music in and out of the house. Weather was beautiful and allowed us time outside as well as inside. Definitely would book again!

Best place in wimberley

I have rented a fair number of properties in Wimberley for girls' trips. This was my second time at this home. There is no more convenient, relaxing, and beautiful place here that I know of.

River Run Cliff Notes

Feeding the deer was awesome. Nice furniture, beds etc. very comfortable beds and rooms. Steps to River grown up with weeds. Grass could have beef cut before we arrived. I would suggest the property by the river be cleaned and trees removed so you could see Blanco River. We really had a good time. The Blanco River was low and we could not access the River to fish or tube. We had everything that we needed and the house was well furnished and decorated.

Perfect Getaway

This is a beautiful home where you can relax and unwind from the city. This charming home has everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway. There are plenty of deer that come close to the house and there is deer feed provided to feed them. The house is on the river so you have direct access to it. The square is nearby where there are plenty of shops and dining places. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Perfect home away from home.

Excellent stay

Highly recommend if staying in Wimberly. The house is clean, tasteful and comfortable. Great location - walkable to town but it feels very secluded! We didn’t cook really so I can’t speak to the use of the kitchen but it looked well stocked! Definite clean and updated. Great stove and fridge. We enjoyed our three nights and wish it could have been longer.

The house is beautiful inside and out exactly as described. It is fully stocked with kitchen essentials to make your own meals. The inside was very clean and cozy with large windows. We spent a lot of our time on the outdoor covered patio due to the rain. The seating area was very nice and comfortable with the ceiling fans and outdoor speakers. We did get to walk down to the river and there were two other decks to sit at that were very nice, one closer to the river had a huge fire pit. We enjoyed our deer visitors and owner had feed for you to put out. Overall, a great place to rent, check in was easy and owner even called to make sure we were getting alerts and to watch the river. My husband and I plan to go back.

Most beautiful

Great location with high-end accessories. This house and property has the best layout for relaxing, cooking and views. Direct access to the blanco river for fishing, swimming and tubing. We enjoyed feeding the deer, hanging out in the water and the beautiful back porch for gathering. The interior of the house was beautiful, clean and accommodating for all your needs. Very close for dinning, shopping and ziplines. We couldn't be happier with the management for great communication and the very thoughtful meat/cheese board with complimentary wine. We will be back.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin on the river

My husband & I stayed at this lovely little cabin for a 3 day getaway. The cabin is beautifully furnished and the bed was quite comfortable. We loved watching the deer from the huge window seat. The outdoor spaces are possibly even nicer than the indoors —multiple seating areas with grills and fire pits. It was August (hot!) so didn’t use these as much, though they are well shaded, but they were really nice. River access couldn’t be better—kayaked a lot and waded in the Blanco River. I’d recommend water shoes if you plan to get in the water. The cabin is also SUPER convenient to downtown Wimberly—we could’ve walked (we didn’t—August is really hot!) Lovely place, definitely would recommend this lovely cabin.

Couldn’t be any better

This property is clean, cute, comfy, and yes, curated. It was ideal for 2 couples to have an amazing long weekend. The property is beautiful and lush, the river swimming hole is crystal clear and being able to walk to the shops was perfect. I would love to buy this house if I had the chance, the furnishings are really top notch. Just make sure to follow the rules, no other guests are allowed. We had a friend who lives in Canyon Lake and drank too much so we let her crash on the couch. However, as I read the rules the next morning, this is not allowed ( but totally the right decision for safety). It’s important that the owners don’t have any city violations on occupancy, so just make sure you follow the rules so this beautiful property can be shared! I would absolutely rent this property again for an adults weekend!!
