For a short stay it was fine. First room we checked into was tiny and faced a building. My husband requested a bigger room and was told none available. Later that night we were offered a bigger room with better view. Much appreciated. Only 3 channels on tv and when we first arrived we planned on going to the beach before checking in. Unfortunately the place had no lobby bathroom to change. It’s an older motel with basic facilities. Again we stayed 2 nights and it was adequate for the price.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Very easy to work with and kind. The rooms were mostly clean but the knob for the shower was mildewed inside, some chipped paint and loose outlets. Biggest concern was no smoke detectors in the room. The shower also made a screaming sound when running. I enjoyed the proximity to the beach (a block and a half), parking was decent unless you have a big vehicle because the spots are snug. Their neighboring property the Safari has much easier parking. Pool area was small and busy, but it was sufficient considering we were at the beach so the pool wasn’t a huge need. The upper deck seating areas were nice to eat dinner at in the evening while just watching the world go by. We had no problem getting additional towels as needed upon request and AC worked well. Plenty of trash receptacles available and free coffee in the office. We had a fridge, microwave and tv. No hair dryer so if you need to use one, bring it from home. There are outlets in the bathroom. I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again. Beds were firm but comfortable and I got what I was expecting.

Our 1st night, beds hard as rock, metal base frame no bedskirts, room was tight, kept hitting toe on frame, floor gritty. No hairdryer. Toilet didn't flush right, tub & sink drains gross no plugs, stove didn't work. No washcloths, no smoke detector. Couldn't reach wicker lamp shade hung from ceiling to turn on a light. Also wicker chairs in room no. Cushions. I requested a refund for rest of our 5 days left,and we were starting to pack up and leave. Front desk (he was nice)than offered to show us 4 other rooms to see if they suit better. We agreed to try 1 more night, and requested housekeeping next day and more towels. We slept better however I had to go back to desk and ask for more towels and garbage bags since they never came to the room. He apologized and said he remembered and knew we were on list (he seemed frustrated withhousekeeping). Our new room also wasn't great, beds were better, and I noticed no smoke detector. I our remaining 5 days we stayed, housekeeping on came 1 or 2 days. The rinse area by pool had a bucket of white liquid junk in and gross. Do NOT recommend especially for price we paid. Not our best vacation.
