Cousin Reunion

Endless views and entertainment. This property was perfect for the 12 of us for our annual cousin and kids family reunion. Plenty of seating for meals and outside to enjoy the immaculate location. This property met all of our needs.

Wonderful trip to the NC Mountains!

The house was fantastic for our stay in the NC Mountains and for proximity to Bryson City for riding the Polar Express. We had a party of 7, two grandparents, two parents, and 3 kids(ages 14,13, and 7). Everyone enjoyed the house and offered privacy for everyone. We spent time around the fire pit, played pool, and watched "Christmas Vacation" in the fantastic movie room. The driveway is a bit steep but with a 4x4 truck and a front wheel drive SUV, we had no issues. We look forward to visiting again and staying here.

Great place

Lovely home. Beautiful views! Great place to make memories with our family. We drove in at night and be prepared for steep and sharp curves up one way narrow drive. Suggest 4 wheel drive vehicles, even though I have a Toyota Sequoia that made it fine with a few spinning wheels. Our last evening was a complete failure as we all came in from hiking all day and about 10 minutes after we got back to house electricity went off. This house needs a generator for power. We hurried and packed all our things before it got too dark. As only one little lantern was found in closet In hallway. So needless to say We all just went to bed with no supper or baths because water goes off also. We waited until 11 pm electricity came back on at 12:15 am. Some got up and just headed out Oh and keep trash in house until you start to leave because bear got in trash can and scattered it. Was outside picking up at 6am before we left. Other than our little electric outage that has absolutely nothing to do with host all was wonderful. Host was very helpful and accommodating as would recommend this home to anyone that likes to be off the beaten path!

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful and comfortable cabin large enough for a family get together! Well stocked kitchen, large decks with plenty of seating and a great fire pit! The road leading to the cabin is the only thing I didn’t care for. It’s quite narrow, fine as long as nobody is coming the opposite way. It wasn’t a problem but I was nervous about it. We had a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Getaway

The views are second to none. The road was narrow but easy to travel and once you get to the top it was worth it. We used every bed in the house and had a blast. We had 10 adults and 2 kids and only a short distance to Cherokee Trout fishing. Plenty of parking. We had an absolutely amazing trip.

Breath Taking View

Cabin was in immaculate condition and had something for guest of all ages to enjoy. Whether it was playing pool, s’mores in the fire pit, movies in the theater room, outdoor games or just sitting on the porch enjoying the mountain views. There was something for the youngest to the oldest guests to enjoy. This cabin had everything we needed to enjoy the week. We literally just came with our bags and let the fun begin!!

Fantastic Cabin!!

Our family absolutely loved this cabin. We've been to several over the years, and it's definitely one of our favorites. We had 5 adults and 4 kids and it was extremely spacious. It's very private (there is a gravel drive as mentioned but we didn't find it difficult at all) and the views are absolutely stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location and being on the quieter side of the park. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and the check in and out process was super simple. We are hoping to go back again!

Awesome mountain getaway

Had a wonderful time at this home, it was perfect for our group. The house was well situated in the area and offered convenient access to the various surrounding attractions. The only thing I would note is that the access road to the home is a quite steep and winding one lane gravel road, so if you are in a car with low clearance it is something to be aware of. Loved the hidden theater and pool table, all the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. 10/10

Great location, spacious, quite, nice view

We enjoyed our stay at Summit Pointe. Clean, quite, and spacious. Plenty of outdoor seating on the porch, plus a nice fire pit, and games to play. Great for a larger group. Only one con, but would still stay here again: 0.8 mile one-lane, gravel road up the mountain leading to the house - difficult to traverse depending on the weather, and not a drive you want to do multiple times a day. Recommend spending most of your stay at the cabin. Overall, great house - we had an incredible stay.

Cabin with a view

Beautiful place with plenty of room and all the amenities you need. We cooked all our meals at the property and the kitchen is very well equipped. All beds and couches were very comfortable. Short drive into town for anything you need. Had no issues, the property owners were very nice and responsive when I had questions before the trip. We definitely recommend this property.

Exactly as pictured - just perfect!

This house had everything that our family needed. We made many meals, spent a lot of time on the deck and enjoyed the fire pit. We visited the Road to Nowhere and the Goldmine Loop Trail on our one day without rain. :) We had a great time and were very comfortable in this house - highly recommend!

This cabin is a dream. You will find everything that you need to stay very comfortably. The details and personal touches throughout were fantastic. So very much to do within the cabin as well as outside. Extremely clean. Our family of 10 slept very comfortably with plenty of extra room.

Beautiful mountain home!!

The house and view was amazing! The house was very clean and well stocked with linens, blankets and kitchen items. The last 1/2 mile or so of the drive was one lane and curvy, but we became more familiar with the drive after the first time. Carmen was quick to respond to any questions I had regarding the property. Thank you for sharing your home!

Wedding week

Our hosts were super responsive to any question we had. Our visit couldn't have been more perfect a beautiful setting a beautiful house. My daughter-in-law was able to bake a wedding cake for the wedding in the wonderful kitchen. Everybody had comfortable rooms with beautiful views. Probably our favorite things were the decks, the fire pit and the wonderful outside bed. The worst thing was leaving we didn't want to go it was so relaxing!

Beautiful Mountain Home

Spacious cabin and perfect for big groups! Our family made great memories here celebrating my parents’ anniversary. We cooked most meals and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is a bit hard to get to and best accessed during daylight, but worth it for the spectacular views!
