The Kalispell Hotel has beauty and charm. It’s a step back in time but with modern hospitality and conveniences. We always enjoy our stay here and its walking distance from great shops, bars, and restaurants. Oh and the breakfast is worth getting up for!

Historical hotel from 1909 that has been restored to show how it was in its prime. Beautiful old hotel that is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are small but it represents the period. Very classic,great staff

Everything is old in this place. Cracks in the walls. Peeling paint. Extremely noisy windows! It ruins the stay. And then it more expensive than all of the other nearby hotels which have significantly better amenities! Would definitely NOT recommend!

The room is quaint. Comfortable bed. The historical age impacts some features. Window air conditioner. Electric heat via baseboard, old but worked fine. Nice bathroom. Parking is $10 for lot next to hotel. Several restaurants within a few minutes walk.

WARNING: Extreme Noise

Linens were clean and smelled good. Reception and eating/lounge areas were beautiful. Staff were responsive and nice. Room was very dated. Breakfast included coffee, hot water, juice, cereals, bread or English muffins, 1 type of pre-packaged quiche and a couple of pastry choices. We skipped it after the first morning. WARNING! “Kruise Kalispell” (I encourage you to look it up—we did on our third night stay) happened every night we were there (Monday-Friday). Started around 6pm and got quieter (not completely) 10:30-11pm. Trucks, sports cars, and other vehicles with modified mufflers all gun their engines around and around and around the streets. We heard expletives, screaming, yelling, horns, screeching of tires….. Perhaps there are rooms that are quieter, but definitely not facing the front of the building on Main Street. I feel for the staff but much more for the customers who want privacy and some basic level of quiet. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to my worst enemy.

Great staff, friendly knowledgeable about places in town. Rooms were done nice. They are getting ready to do noise canceling windows cause the traffic can get loud. Breakfast was awesome!
