Enjoy the sounds of nature and beautiful rural views in this peaceful and private self contained unit. Situated a 10-15 minute walk to Virginia Lake and a short distance to town.

Full kitchen with Nespresso machine, separate bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom. There is a futon couch in the kitchen/living room area for additional guests if required. A port a cot is also available.

Pets allowed on request, there is a double kennel & run available for use.

A beautiful scenic location. Perfect for 2 people.Some special additions left for us, like fruit in the fruit bowl, milk, tea and coffee provided.Also I really appreciated the sofa bed being made up for my daughter for when we arrived.Thank you so much for the lovely place to stay.

We had a great stay. Very clean throughout with comfortable bed and furniture. The kitchen was excellent to cook in, with everything one could need. Host was responsive. The grounds were kept in great condition and we enjoyed the semi-rural location so close to town.

Whanganui retreat

Had a very relaxing time here. The apartment is well equipped, very comfortable and in a very scenic spot. Also close to town. Would definitely go back.

I had a truly wonderful stay. Although I was traveling for work this location was serene and surrounded by beautiful nature - Perfect for disconnecting and unwinding after a long day. The home was clean, cozy and thoughtfully prepared, well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Kathie was extremely responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape. I hope to return again soon.
