Another Great Stay!

Dan and Ann are amazing as is the rental. This was our second stay this year and it was as excellent as the first one. We love walking to the gorge and hiking the trails. The views and location are awesome!

Amazing stay and amazing owners!

The townhome was better than I had expected. Plenty of space for a family. I loved having 3 levels with 2 of them giving you amazing views of the Seneca lake. We spent many hours enjoying the views. It’s a stone’s throw away to Watkins Glenn. All the restaurants, gas stations, and a church were close by. Everything you needed was right there. Above all the owners Ann and Dan were awesome and made our stay extra special. Will definitely return with larger family!

A Great Space and Clean

Condo was bright, big and clean. Located right downtown and we walked to everything. A lot of stairs but not a big deal for any of us. Would book here again if we go back to Watkins Glen.

Unbeatable location

Our family of four with a 9 yo and 7 yo stayed here for a 3 days. Location is perfect, walkable to downtown. We would recommend the listing. The unit is well appointed. Plenty of pots and pans and other kitchen items. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Everything was perfectly clean throughout. Travel shampoo and dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, etc are provided and very appreciated. A few notes that I didn’t realize from the listing: 1. It is three stories: garage on the first floor, bedrooms on the second, living room/kitchen on the third. 2. Road noise, train noise, harbor noise. It is tucked in a curve in the road, and there is a lot of traffic noise. If you are looking for a silent retreat to the woods/lake, this isn’t it. I only noticed it on the third floor, which opens to the road; the bedrooms were quiet. If you have lived in an urban area, you’ll be fine. The train tracks out back facing the lake are close, but only one or two trains came through. It goes slowly, and isn’t terribly loud, but it did wake us. One night there was a singer at the harbor. He wrapped around 8:45, so no biggie. Then they turned on prerecorded music until 11. It sounded like it was in the bedrooms. Not owner’s issue, but not ideal. 3. The futon isn’t in the bedroom as listed, but in the living room. Had to shuffle our plans. 4. Four pm check in is late, IMO. 5. Checkin message mentioned grill and Adirondack chairs. Never found them.

Much needed vacation

My boyfriend and I went with another couple to the Finger Lakes. This was our first time there but definitely not our last. Watkins Glen was the perfect town and our condo was the perfect accommodation. The location was right on the lake and within walking distance to all shops, restaurants, bars, and Watkins Glen State Park. The place was immaculate, clean, modern and the views were breathtaking. The balcony was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of wine tastings. We will definitely stay at the same location and have already recommended the condo to other friends.

Beautiful view and property

The property and view was amazing. Easy walkability around town and even to the hiking trails. Kitchen had all we needed and plenty of cups, etc. If stairs are challenging for you, then you might want to look elsewhere as there are 4 flights of stairs.

Perfect for our Mother/Daughter Weekend

We spent 3 nights in Watkins Glen for a Mother/Daughter weekend. The location right on Lake Seneca was perfect, convenient to everything in town and for exploring the Seneca Wine trail. We had no issues with anything, check in/out was simple. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great property & great location

This place was clean, bright and modern. The kitchen/living room area was especially nice. We enjoyed coffee in the morning with the view of the lake. We had no problem with all the stairs but it was definitely a surprise. Others may just want to be aware if climbing stairs is an issue. The bathrooms were really nice and bright. The private garage was a really nice bonus. Proximity to downtown was great! We walked every morning and found a few great coffee shops. Would definitely book this again.

Great property in a great location!

This townhouse is super clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and in excellent condition. We enjoyed the lake views, especially the morning mist over the water. There are a lot of stairs in the unit, which was fine for us but may be a concern for some guests. Plenty of parking in spaces designated for the building. Short walk to restaurants, shops, and Watkins Glen State Park for spectacular hiking. A perfect location for exploring Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes region! Thanks for a great stay!

location! little noisy from road/train

Love so much about this stay. location was great to restaurants and did stop in a few shops. walked to state park and enjoyed a good workout for a few hours as we went longer than most. street noise was noticeable all day and night and the train did come by one morning ~7:30am. patio was nice to sit and watch the lake traffic and the sitting area by water was also a great little nitch.
