This was one of the best Ritz Carlton‘s that I have been at. Mainly, the staff is absolutely wonderful and so helpful. We were in town for the Marines marathon so we had four amazing nights staying at this hotel. The restaurant Sante is fantastic. The hostess was so friendly and when I returned, she remembered my name! The housekeeping is top-notch and very respectful the front desk staff welcome desk with a racing packet with information that was super helpful. They dormant and Valet always had a smile and welcomed us when we return. Of course the bed is extremely comfortable as all Ritz Carlton hotels are, but the staff truly are the gem of the operation. I really liked the fact that it was connected to the Pentagon city mall, which has many great stores to shop. I never went to the spa, Pool, or used the other amenities, but I would definitely stay here again when returning to Washington DC. Thank you for the fantastic job and hotel stay.

Odd location. Didn’t feel right for a Ritz to be attached to a mall. Friendly service as always. Weird headboards - seems minor but uncomfortable to sit in the bed.

This was my first time staying at The Ritz-Carlton. I usually stay at Salamander in Washington, DC. I only booked one night so that I could complete some needed research for a book I'm working on. Unfortunately, there was a problem with Verizon and there was no internet service until the next day when I was checking out. The hotel acknowledged the problem and offered points for the inconvenience. Sometimes, things are simply out of your control. The employees were welcoming and committed to service. I'd stay here again.

Metro is steps away. Hotel is connected to a mall. While convenient, it takes away a tad from feeling of security. Staff top notch. Very clean. Rooms small but updated. Overall pleasant experience.( also they stored our luggage day of arrival and day of departure which was amazing )

When we arrived we felt out of place. We were given our room on the 5th floor. When we commented on the sewer smell we were told that they were working on it and it would improve. By the morning I felt like throwing up and had a very bad headache. When I called the front desk, they asked me again to be patient and it would improve. When I explained that the smell was making me ill, they moved us to the 4th floor. The smell was a bit better but still present. We were on our way out when we met Anita, what a breath of fresh air she was compared to the other individual we were dealing with. She gave us a map of the area, tourist activities and directions. The next day she asked how it went, took time to listen and made us feel like family. She took great care of us and our grandson everyday we were there. When she was off for the day we were sad she was not there to greet us. She was absolutely amazing!!! The other ladies and gentlemen were as well, but Anita went above and beyond!!! We will never forget her. The Valet service was outstanding. All were very accommodating. However, Ashagrie, the Guest Arrival Expert, very helpful and took great care of us daily. Providing us not only with great service but paid extra attention to our grandson (2 yrs old) listened to him when we returned, gave him high fives and fist bumps. There was another gentleman who's name began with an "R" but I don't remember it. He came and told us goodbye on his last shift. We will be back again!!

I had a great stay at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City location. The staff was amazing & very welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. I did not get a chance to try the restaurant this visit.
