While the apartment was neat, it could have been cleaner and the linens most of all. There were make-up stains all over the towels and bed linens. I had to wash them and then they came out clean. The property manager, Henry, was attentive but it does not minimize that the stove had foul fumes due to a protective coating on the bottom of the stove, which have me a 2 day headache. The owner did not seem to care. We had to purchase our own towels and placed sweatshirts over the pillows to avoid the drool smell and the bathtub was clogged/slow. I am disappointed that 3 of my 6 day vacation was spent cleaning linens and beds and waiting for maintenance clearance. It did not work out for our thanksgiving plans. If you have 4 guests staying for 6 nights there should have more than one set of towels and most of them were dirty. Henry the host was great and he didn’t deny the problem and did the best he could. He acknowledged that the linens were dirty and that they ordered new ones which would arrive in a couple of days. We were exhausted from our 15hr drive and just wanted to go to bed in a clean bed and that did not happen until 2am. In this post-covid era, more steps should be taken to ensure a clean and ready property is offered. Especially since the property description claimed to be a luxury property with luxury linens which sparked my reservation. The dirty towels were extremely small (barely wrapped around me) and worn/thin.
