El dormitorio de invitados tiene (2) gemelos y se puede juntar para hacer un rey a pedido. Ambos dormitorios se enfrían con un nuevo sistema de aire acondicionado split. Los baños están muy bien remodelados. habitación y terraza con vista a la playa, el parque playa de la comunidad, el océano y las luces de la bahía en la noche vivo! La cocina está más que bien equipada como en casa. Los servicios disponibles para su uso son Internet inalámbrico gratuito, TV, DVD, cable, sillas de playa, sombrillas, toallas de playa y una nevera portátil para sus excursiones.

Very nice property

The property was modern, clean and nicely appointed. We needed to discuss the checkin process with the property manager and she was very responsive and accommodating. Our checkin was very smooth. The only negative was the neighbors air conditioner that you can see from the pics is next to the subject property lanai. That air conditioner, when running was so loud it masked the sound of the surf when we were on the lanai, and we could hear it when we were in the unit and the door was closed. Fortunately it wasn’t running all the time. Small negative compared to all the positives with this property. We would stay again.

Wonderful Location & a Lovely Stay

We were taking walks on the beach every morning. Having the beach there and a pool on the property was wonderful. When we got tired of the beach we’d hang out by the pool for another hour or so. My husband would grill some meat for lunch. We were about a 15 to 30 minute dry from most things: grocery stores, restaurants etc. Beds were comfortable. It was just the perfect home away from home during our stay on Maui. We loved it.

Makani a Kai

This property was an excellent location for us in Maui! Maalaea is quiet, and an easy hop to pretty much everywhere on the island. Know that most things in town close fairly early (~8 pm), and big grocery stores are 15 min away in Kehei. Property was clean and comfortable, and maybe 200 ft through the property to the beach! We enjoyed our stay immensely! Mahalo!

Nice, quiet location away from all the other touristy spots. Amazing beach access and an awesome general store within walking distance for anything you might need plus good food. We will stay here again, for sure!

Wonderful setting, location, and home-away-from-home

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Loved the location as a quiet, peaceful hub to rest of Maui. We were able to plan out great day trips from this location. The place was perfect for our family of four with bunk beds for the kids and a great loft for us parents. Patio with sounds and views of ocean waves in the evening, I can still faintly hear in my head. Also evening strolls on the beach are just a few steps away. Amenities were great with on-site laundry and a microwave that we were able to use as a convection oven. And for someone that doesn’t enjoy looking for parking, again loved the relative quietness of the area as it was so easy to get in/out so we could spend our time enjoying our trip. Definitely a winner if you are looking for a place to launch your Maui travels.

Perfect quiet condo

This condo is excellent! Right on a quiet beach that seems to be a mix of locals and tourists. We loved popping down to the beach for sunset or a quick dip in the morning before starting the day. A short drive to some incredible snorkeling. I had trouble deciding where to stay on the island, but this ended up being perfect because both the west side of the island and Maalaea Bay were easily accessible. Well stocked kitchen that was easy to cook in.

Thanksgiving treat

We had a wonderful time in Maalea. We have stayed at many of the Makani A Kai condos in the past and this was the first one with stairs. It was enjoyable for us and our grandchildren.

Smooth Sailing

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Our rental manager, Amy, was very responsive to my emails. When I noticed a small repair needed, she immediately sent someone over to fix it. She was very helpful with the check in process and explaining how to use the laundry room. The rental unit had a beautiful view of the ocean and nearby park. Each room had an A/C unit making it very comfortable for temperature. The kitchen and cookware was in good condition and there was a public BBQ outside. There was a smart TV in the living room where we could watch netflix, hulu, and cable TV. The only issue we had was the headboard on the downstairs bed was loose and would jiggle around and make noise while trying to sleep on it. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and great way to experience my first time in Maui.

Greta place for a vacation

My friends and I really enjoyed this condo. It's in a great location and close to many things. The pool was not crowded and lovely to swim in. The beach is public access so there were several people there but still beautiful and nice to swim in. We had a great time overall. Thanks for having us!

Great place bring beach stuff with you

Loved everything but two things, no beach equipment was available so that was no good after reading it would all be provided and only a convection microwave oven. No true oven in the condo. Snorkeled with turtles and all sorts of marine life. Walked on the never ending beach for 3 hours.

This is the best location in Maui!

We absolutely loved our week in B9!! The location is perfect on the island and makes visiting other areas a breeze. The condo is beautiful and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and comfortable beds. It has everything for a great day at the beach (chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella and cooler) which is perfect since an amazing beach is just steps away from the front door! The beach is not crowded and goes on for miles -literally!! The lanai does overlook the public park and has an air conditioning unit but we spent each morning and evening out there and were never bothered by either. This condo would be perfect for a family with kids of any age or for 2 couples. We highly recommend staying here and plan to come back someday ourselves!
