Check in was simple, I parked right in front of my room, (which made unloading/loading my ski gear a breeze!), the room was exactly what I was hoping for - clean & comfortable, and the shower was HOT! Bonus - the room has a coffee pot, a microwave, and a mini fridge, so packing food for the trip saved $, time, and calories! I didn’t make it to the sauna as I didn’t pack a robe to get to/from the sauna outside. I will try it next time, though! It’s not fancy, but for the price point, it exceeded my expectations!!! (There’s always a fear of what you will get for under $100/night, but rest assured, this place won’t send you packing with creepy crawlies!)

It’s an economy motel but it was clean, comfortable, safe and relatively quiet. Pretty much all you need in a cheap motel.

Easy to get to location, not a busy area, nice and quiet. Clean room, easy check-in, has everything necessary. Only complaint is that the linens are a bit scratchy/rough. Otherwise, everything was good.

Great value in Virginia. Clean room. Friendly staff. Goodie basket for guests in room. Quiet. Scenic location between 2 lakes. Unfortunately, the fishing pier and the edge of the parking area had several homeless people sleeping there. I couldn't fish there in the morning. A woman was sleeping on the pier with her belongings, thus claiming the pier. I wish the city/county would clean that up. But, the lodging experience was top notch. Would stay again, just wouldn't plan on fishing across the street.
