Iruppu water falls in Coorg, Karnataka, S India
Nagarhole National Park, #Coorg, #India
#Nagarhole National Park is a tiger reserve in Coorg, #Karnataka, a state in south India. We didn't see the tiger but did see the Indian bison, wild hogs, mongoose and the famous Malabar giant squirrel. Sighting or not, it's a highly recommended experience. The early morning air, the smells and sounds of the forest - it's overwhelming being there witnessing it all!

You get to see the giant creatures walking just next to you. #perspectives
And this happened. On one of the most amazing jungle safaris of my life, on a boat in Kabini, watching the whole jungle come alive and me clicking away to glory, I witnessed this tuskless male elephant happily grazing by the river, some 400 meters close to our boat. I pick up my camera to capture this beauty but alas see my battery ditching me. Luckily unluckily all I could get with my dead battery was one last pic on the camera of this elegant giant not in the best frame but still capturing the magnificent beauty of our Indian pride. The texture and lines of his skin speaks about the years of his rustic experience in the wilderness.
